The product is just okay.

The product is very excellent but playback function disappoints a lot. Also the touch screen is less sensitive and you need to press very hard to open the application which might damage the screen in long run.

Very good low light captures. Takes good night scenes and videos

The Play Back function is confusing. They need to make it user friendly as per their earlier camcorders

A workman like camcorder, and has a VIEWFINDER!

A nice to handle camcorder with a useful GPS function for those of us who cannot remember where that scene was shot.

I had a S300 and like todays trend was hopeless out doors in the sun. So, I scrapped that camcorder and bought the CX700VE because it does have that simple device which made all the difference for outdoor use. The low light aspect is good, focus is quic

The method of displaying playback groups seems pointless. I would prefer that the simple pages of thumbnails be displayed instead of the strange little groups . I would have liked to be able to have both the monitor screen and viewfinder on at the same t

Perfect

I upgraded from the Sony 150 to this and love it. The built in sync cable is so much better, the build in wide lens is also great. I film almost every day with it and have no complaints about it.

Sony Cx700 - Love and Hate - Mostly hate............

Where do I start? I love to hate this camera! Amazon loaned me the 700 for 2 months, thanks Amazon. (actually 2 different ones) The Cx700 is built like a tank, nice and solid in the hand. Great low light images, great LCD and speakers. Fantastic sound...

There are many pros and cons to this camera. It is terrific in many ways. However I have run into a problem that should give anyone second thoughts about cameras with internal memory. The camera died and fails to power up with either AC or battery...
