I enjoy my Camcorder. It is easy to operate however, I think if the record light indicator would change to green when recording images, it would help when you glance at the screen and don't remember if you touched the record button.

This camcorder is smaller than previous versions and has lots of storage for continuous use. Love the large screen. Turns on and off automatically when opening the screen. Never forget to turn off after use. Super convenient!

To my surprise this camera HDR-XR260v does not have remote control capability. Hard to believe that in 2012, a device that can connect to a TV does not have remote control capability but this is true for this product. Do not buy! Say you go on vacation...
