Vivitar DVR390H

It's a bird, it's a plane ... no, it's a 6-in-1 recorder/player. Wait for it, this portable device is a MPEG4 video camera, digital still camera, MP3/MP4 player, TV/video recorder, digital stills frame and voice recorder all wrapped into one.

Outlook The DVR 390H looks like a great holiday device. You can watch movies on road trips - just bring extra batteries if you want to watch more than one movie. And with all of its added camera/camcorder and audio capabilities, it will certainly be...

Vivitar DVR390H

I have owned my DVR 390H for nearly 2 years now and must admit that, at first, I thought it was rubbish... that was until I found out that I needed a scart lead with the red/white/yellow plugs to connect the base unit to whatever I wanted to record...

The quality of the films recorded on it are brilliant and the sound good too. Great for taking films/music/photos on holiday with you. Great that you can use it as a camcorder and also as a camera. I consider it great value for the money I paid for...

The colours aren't quite so true on photographs but at 3.1 mps still great to print up to 7 x 5 photos ; It's a pain having to connect the microphone everytime you want to film as it doesn't have a built in one but this can be handy when you are...

Vivitar DVR390H

got mine for 69.99GBP. It's 2007 and it arrived a bit scratched, looking like ex display stock

Best feature - very cheap! Nice big, bright screen. lots of hard drive space. simple to explore navigation. recorded TV no problem but quality not top notch though acceptable for price of unit. Plays all my MP3s no problem, though best to organise on...

pretty naff camera with staggered digital zoom but works. easy to put battery in the wrong way round. recorder bit is solid and metallic but the connection to camera seems pretty flimsy. The MP4 it produces are big for the visual quality of them. USB...

"Love it - but add a optical zoom"

What a totally cool product - all you need is an optical zoom, and support for standard MPEG 2 (for viewing DVDs that you've copied with your PC using DVD Decrypter.
