Silverstone Raven RV01

By Nathan Edwards (maximumpc.com)

While most Silverstone cases tend toward polished metal and (if you're lucky) a side window, the Raven's hard plastic exterior takes its stylistic cues from a stealth bomber. Appropriately, everything on this 24.3x26x11-inch beaut is hidden behind ...

Rotated motherboard tray to improve airflow. Screwless retention mechanism for drives. Cable-routing clips on motherboard tray

Plastic outer shell ; non-removable motherboard tray

As in the cons section, it's a love or hate it look, I personally like it it's clean, well built and is very quiet.

Lots-O-room ! Incredibly quiet (compaired to my old apevia x-telstar) Plenty of enough places to hide wires. It has a very clean look on the inside. The side panels have some sort of sound deadening material inbeded in them, and it works

Ok, this case has a love it or hate it look. It won't transform into a jive talking robot

SILVERSTONE RAVEN RV01-BW Black Steel / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case - Retail

By N/A (newegg.com)

it's huge (30"+ square, a foot deep), it's heavy (44lbs shipping weight), it's very well built. It's got more room than you know what to do with. The hot swappable bay is 100% internal, there's no way to get to it with the sides of the case on...

Big, roomy. Lots of metal surfaces. Lots of fans. Hot swappable SATA bay

Big, heavy, not pretty, expensive

Manufacturer's Description

The mission for SilverStone's Raven team is to design products with styling and features that exceed classic originals in boldness and intention. The RV01's stealth fighter inspired outer shell is styled aggressively but with a small hint of SilverStone's famed reservation by the use of only matte finish. This gives RV01 an unmistakable wow factor and a look that will remain pleasing for years to come. For the interior, a revolutionary layout was utilized to take advantage of a very simple...
