Does not work to burn DVDs. From first burn it did not work. I searched all DELL forums for a solution only to find that everybody had the same issue. I upgraded firmware, drivers, Roxio software, everything I could think but this is JUNK. Buy an external...
Find out what you are getting!
If you want one, call Dell and give them your express service code. Next make sure it is NOT a phillips unit. Even after I upgraded the firmware, I am unhappy. I am lookiing for a different brand name burner.
Reads and writes CD-R, CD RW ok. Easy to install.
