Drive works just fine. Smooth fast and quiet. Very reliable. No coasters.
Software from cyberlink is aweful. Cant upgrade it from OEM, and it only part way works OEM. Cyberlink has no serial numbers for the software after you buy it.

The other reviewer gives this BR burner drive 3 stars because of the oem software from another company...really?!!! He says the drive works flawlessly, yet gives it 3 stars! This is America 2009!!

I only burned 3 BD disc so far and no coasters. Better buy than the Sony 8x burner IMHO.
This drive is quiet and fast. No problems with Vista 64bit.
