Nokia 2220 slide Review

Trying to take over the mass mobile phone market, Nokia launched a new range of cheap handsets at a very low price. I'll emphasize the latter as very unusual, the Finnish manufacturer being renowned for their not so cheap prices even for its low budget...

The best thing about Nokia 2220 slide is definitely the low price. Also, I would like to mention here the solid sliding build and the nice design. Nokia Life Tools can also come in handy for some people that live in areas where this application is...

Even though its price is low, the slider does not have too many things to offer. The lack of Bluetooth connectivity and USB port, as well as memory slot makes it almost unusable for those that intend to take pictures or want to listen their own music....

Nokia 2220 Slide

This is a conventional Series 40 device with a 1.8" 128 x 160 pixel TFT display, a VGA resolution (0.3 megapixel) camera, GPRS and EDGE, web browser and an email client. There's no MP3 player, but the 2220 slide does comes with an FM radio (with radio...

Nokia 2220 Slide review

It may lack the features we've come to take for granted on entry-level phones, but the Nokia 2220 Slide is great value for money compared to other devices in the same price bracket. Competition is becoming fierce in the budget phone class, however, so...

Study build quality ; Bright, colourful screen ; MP3 ringtones ; FM radio with recording facility

Low-resolution screen ; No microSD card slot ; Low internal memory ; No 3G or Bluetooth

Hovering around the £30 mark, the Nokia 2220 Slide's nearest competitor is the Sony Ericsson Spiro. To be honest, the Nokia is beaten pretty fairly in almost every department by its rival, but if you're a fan of the Finnish phones and can't afford to...

Nokia 2220 slide Review

"Inexpensive and very straightforward, the Nokia 2220 Slide is a basic low-end slider phone designed to handle the essentials."

Keeping things simple, there's no music player but the FM radio should keep you entertained when you're above-ground. There's a 3.5mm audio jack so you can listen to the radio on your own headphones. And although you can't listen to them as music...

Review: Nokia 2220. Easy on the Pocket

In the spirit of keeping costs down, Nokia's 2220 slide is another low-end phone from the Fins, but that doesn't mean it has to look cheap. From the first, the phone is a highly stylish device that would do any pocket proud. But does it follow-through...

Nokia 2220 Slide

It is a good starter phone, it is also good for people who just want to do texts and calls. I bought it for £25. My dad bought it me as my first phone and I got bored of it in just 1 week. As I said above in what's bad about it, I want Bluetooth and...

Nokia 2220 Slide

I'm usually a fan of nokias and have owned several, but this is the single worst phone I have ever not only owned, but ever used. When I bought it it was £30, there was a lot better and cheaper phones out there at the time but not on my network and...

Nokia 2220 Slide

I'm usually a big fan of Nokia, but I've learned to loathe this phone. It's insensitive to its buttons being pressed and I often need 2 or 3 goes to make it lock or choose a number or letter. Nothing about it works like you'd expect and I had to resort...

Nokia 2220 Slide

Looking for a reasonable camera. I wish they would print the image resolution on the box. I wouldn't have bought this piece of c*** had I known it was only 480x640 pixels (.3Mps).

It's cheap

The camera is abysmal
