The 8800 Arte is satisfyingly solid and heavy and its constructed from the finest smoked glass and composite metals. With the slider shut, the 8800 is minimalist chic
It's a stunning-looking phone that's made from the finest materials.
It's expensive, it's heavy, the battery is poor and there's no expandable memory slot.
Despite its shortcomings, the 8800 Arte is so beautifully made, you could forgive it (almost) anything. Until you drop it on your foot

A very easy to use phone and the Walkman player is fun. The five-way navigation pad controls the player when in Walkman mode but the addition of motion sensors allows you to skip tracks with an abrupt flick of your wrist.
The fitness apps and Walkman music player are incredibly useful if you're embarking on an exercise programme.
The music player shake controls work OK but don't enhance usability.

Neat candybar phone for the money, and its classy brushed aluminium finish and solid build is a million miles from many other budget handsets
The quality faux-metallic veneer and solid construction belies its entry-level status.
Features are sparse but the omission of Bluetooth is most disappointing.
Prepayers on a tight budget are spoilt rotten with this quality-made, smart looking candybar Full Review and Specification for the Sony Ericsson T250i It's fair to say that Sony Ericsson's presence in the bargain basement prepay market has been ...

Probably Sagem's most stylish handset to date. Its slim, light build, good looks makes the Sagem my511X very easy on the eye.
There's no denying the Sagem my511X's eloquent design. The jet-black finish and slim build is sure to get the handset noticed.
The usability is poor. The flat keypad, however nice it looks doesn't work, while the shortcut keys become redundant due to the lack of instructions.
When it comes to looks, the Sagem my511X is even more attractive than its price tag. However, while you may be the cause of a degree of phone envy for a time, the phone's poor features and frustrating usability will be what it is remembered for

Motorola's first 3.5G phone, the RAZR maxx V6, carries on where the V3x left off and now has faster download speeds. But is this motor refit enough to persuade you to upgrade?
HSDPA performance was consistently strong while the music player has also improved
A style rethink would be refreshing. Some may find it a bit bulky.
We can't knock its HSDPA performance, but we think the maxx V6's design has become jaded 3G Total Score84% This review covers the above mobile phone only and does not address the performance of any 3G Network. The score is based on a 3G ...

LG has spawned another member of the Chocolate family but this time the familiar-looking U830 arrives fitted with a 3.5G wireless engine.
A very stylish design plus it's HSDPA ready when 3 eventually rolls out its 3.5G network.
It is stylish but LG has disappointed by sticking with the KG810 design.
It's nothing new, but the U830 is the most stylish of the new breed of HSDPA phones

Before we get onto that, let's mention the other Moto handset that is likely to get confused with the V3xx, the MOTORAZR maxx V6. It is also a 3.6Mbps supporting handset, and it has a many similarities to the V3xx, but a few differences too. Among the ...
Potential for super fast HSDPA Internet access and downloading
Poor battery life, last generation camera
If you want HSDPA this is an eye-catcher, but don't bank on state of the art camera features, good battery life, and ultra portability. 3G Total Score80% This review covers the above mobile phone only and does not address the performance of ...

This compact Symbian smartphone is a lot tougher than the W710i and more comprehensive with its fitness apps. Its text-to-speech capabilities can update you with your progress and read text messages while exercising.
The fitness apps and Walkman player combine for a very useful exercise aid.
Surprisingly for a sporty phone, the W710i isn't built to withstand an over-active life.
Another great Walkman phone that will appeal to fitness fanatics and sporty types everywhere
