Apple iPhone 7 Smartphone Review

Now, it is also waterproof. The case of the new iPhone is now also protected against water and dust. There are also improvements in respect to the camera as well as the display, combined with a lot of performance. A headphone jack is, however, not...

very sophisticated and light case ; protected against water and dust ; comprehensive sensor equipment ; many mobile frequencies ; intuitive software with useful apps ; high WLAN transfer rates ; good GPS accuracy ; very good camera ; very precise...

only 12 months warranty ; no 3.5 mm headphone jack ; pretty low resolution of the display ; NFC only for Apple Pay ; pretty expensive ; no microSD-slot ; voice quality not perfect ; noticeable warming ; speakers only average

The Apple iPhone 7 will certainly not be remembered as a revolution on the smartphone market. If you believe the rumors, Apple is saving the revolution for the 10th anniversary of the iPhone next year. The manufacturer still offers a very good high-end...

Apple iPhone 7

Apple's iPhone 7 is better than last year's model in almost every way, but it isn't quite as good as its bigger sibling, the iPhone 7 Plus.

Water-resistant design. Faster processor, brighter screen, and better cameras than last year's model.

The absence of a 3.5mm headphone jack is a big hassle, at least for a few months. Not all models are compatible with all carriers. Lacks dual cameras.

Comparisons and Conclusions There's a simple question this year: Are the iPhone 7's new features worth the headphone jack hassle, especially right now, when there aren't many Lightning headphones available and Bluetooth is still divisive?

Apple iPhone 7 review

Curved wraparound screen? Nope. Wireless charging? Not yet. Are you bothered that the 2016 iPhone looks the same as its predecessor? If you are, I understand the feeling. The iPhone 7 ( $715.00 at Amazon Marketplace ) doesn't feel like the "whole new...

Improved front and rear cameras -- now with optical image stabilization -- deliver much improved photos, especially in low light. Water resistant. A faster processor, plus slightly better battery life. More onboard storage than last year's models for...

No headphone jack (but there's a dongle and compatible wired headphones in the box). Click-free home button takes getting used to. Only the larger 7 Plus has the cool dual camera. Shiny jet-black version scratches easily.

The iPhone 7's notable camera, battery and water resistance improvements are worthwhile upgrades to a familiar phone design. But ask yourself if you really need an upgrade... and if the Plus might be a better choice.

The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus Review: Iterating on a Flagship

The iPhone 6 was a runaway success by any measure. The A8 SoC may have been built on a temperamental 20nm process – something that dogged all other phone vendors – but for Apple it didn't matter. The iPhone 6 was the first iPhone generation with a...

Overall, I think that if there’s any phone that is worth 650-750 USD at its base, it’s the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. If you’re upgrading from the iPhone 6s Plus you probably won’t find a ton of differences, but it’s still a significant step up in display,...

iPhone 7 Review

It's ironic, a new iPhone is usually the specter hanging over rival smartphones, but it's the promise of their unannounced successor that looms above the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus . Mauled even before launch by vocal criticism of Apple's decision to...

iPhone 7 and 7 Plus review: Apple (mostly) plays it safe

Unless your hands can't accommodate it, the iPhone 7 Plus is probably the iPhone you're looking for. It takes the foundational improvements made to the iPhone 7 and packs them into a body with a crisper screen and beefier battery. While it might seem...

Top-tier performance ; Great 12-megapixel camera ; Improved battery ; It's water-resistant!

No headphone jack ; Same design, three years running ; New home button takes getting used to

The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus are at once the most technically impressive smartphones Apple has ever made and the most divisive. After all, they're excellent because of Apple's renewed attention to the basics: the speed, the camera, the screen, the battery....

Apple iPhone 7 vs LG G5

Apple's iPhone 7 seems to be in a league of its own when it comes to sales: it has been the best selling single phone model in the world in the past few years, and there are no signs of this changing anytime soon. This, however, does not mean that...

More affordable price ; Quick Charge support ; Easily swappable battery

By facing the iPhone 7 in a direct comparison, the LG G5 has a very hard time standing on equal footing.

Apple iPhone 7 vs HTC 10

Apple's iPhone 7 is the one device that gets all the attention right before the busy Holiday season starts. No matter whether you prefer Android or are infatuated with Apple, the iPhone - the world's best selling phone - will likely be at least...

Stylish metal design ; Clean and generally fast Android build ; Well-performing camera ; Quick Charge support

At the end of the day, the Apple iPhone 7 and HTC 10 are two great choices for those looking for a stylish phone that is also fast and has a good camera.
