Asus P750 review: Significant other

Asus P750 lands on the crowded Windows Mobile Pro scene but it sure isn't dropped defenseless. The Asus PocketPC is among the best equipped Windows Mobile devices on the market. A hardware multi-tap keyboard to back up that 2.6" TFT touchscreen...

Windows Mobile 6.0 Pro ; UMTS/HSDPA 3.6Mbps support with video calls ; 2.6" 65K-color TFT touchscreen display with QVGA resolution ; 520 MHz Marvel CPU ; 64MB of RAM, 256MB of ROM ; 3.15 megapixel auto focus camera and a secondary VGA video-call camera...

Tri-band GSM only ; Hefty size ; Limited amount of RAM ; 2.6 inch relatively small (in PocketPC terms) ; Camera is really poor (we guess it might be a faulty unit) ; Video recording resolution is way too low ; No multimedia software preinstalled...

Unfortunately, the Asus P750 doesn't have a good enough advantage over QWERTY devices sizewise. It's on the large side while the display is below the 2.8-inch standard that seems to reign the industry. Still, it's not a big difference, and the tad...

ASUS P750 (3.5G) - HardwareZone.com

2007 has been a good one for smartphones, with heavyweights such as the HTC TyTN II and perhaps, the ASUS P750 that could give HTC a run for their money.

Asus P750

Asus P750 is a Triband/UMTS/HSDPA smartphone running Windows Mobile 6 Professional and powered by Intel XScale PXA270 520 Mhz CPU, 256 MB ROM and 64 MB RAM. P750 also include WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, SiRF III GPS receiver, FM radio, MicroSD expansion...

The keypad is going to be a handy addition to the good enough stuffing. It is a full-value top class solution, the truth is, it has got some drawbacks - 64 Mb of RAM and USB1.1 as well as the absence of a camera flashlight will disappoint those...

ASUS P750

Amid the plethora of stylish, fashion-orientated smartphones, the ASUS P750 isn't going to wow you with its looks. Instead, this rather bland-looking ...

HSDPA-capable, Wi-Fi, GPS, ASUS Launcher, maps included, window mount and cradle

Boxy and chunky build, display resolution, no physical keyboard, bland design

The P750 won't turn many heads, but it will provide you with a fair list of features and the bundled window mount for navigation is a bonus.

Stuff magazine

Asus has taken a breather from its EeePC world tour to rustle up this rather powerful, Windows-powered smartphone with GPS

The P750's impressive feature arsenal and understated looks should help it catch the eye of the business pro

Asus P750 Smartphone

Not exactly the smallest smartphone, but its numerous features certainly make it one of the most desirable.

Asus' P750 is a very aggressively priced device and under the hood it bundles a large array of software and capability. I can't say I like the mini-joystick or the hardware design, but in terms of value for money this is a very impressive smartphone.

Asus P750 review

The ASUS P750 may be chunky, but it packs in a huge array of features. Combined with an equally impressive software bundle, the result is an excellent multifunction handheld that should appeal to a wide range of mobile professionals

3G/HSDPA connectivity ; Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS ; Front-facing camera for video calls ; Good battery life ; Business card scanner ; Lots of useful extra applications

Relatively bulky and heavy ; MicroSD card slot is on an outside edge and unprotected

This is impressive battery life for a Windows Mobile 6 Professional device, although realistic usage patterns involving a mixture of GPS, Wi-Fi and 3G mean that you'll be lucky to achieve it in practice

Review: Asus P750

It isn't the most exciting model out there, but the P750 probably has all you need in a WM6 PDA-phone.

Numeric keypad for text input; bundled car kit; many applications included; HSDPA connectivity; convenient power switch; excellent battery life

No bundled maps for navigation; ordinary design; shutter lag in camera application

Asus has gotten it mostly right with the P750. It comes with all the requisite wireless options and doesn't have any damning flaws. It even comes with a pretty good bundle including a car holder and charger. The major shortcoming we would have to say...

Asus P750 PDA Phone Review

Overview:

Asus have outdone all their previous models. The P750 Pocket PC is a wonderful example of business phones that are feature packed and are available in the mid-price segment. It is chunky and the hardware design could have been much tidier. However...
