Asus ZenFone 3 ZE552KL Smartphone Review

Designer piece. Asus has treated the 5.5-inch ZenFone 3 to premium looks while keeping performance and configuration in mind. The outcome is a good and affordable mid-range smartphone that hardly exhibits any shortcomings in the test.

high-quality build ; fingerprint sensor ; very bright Full HD panel ; Android 6.0 ; USB Type-C port ; LTE and dual-SIM ; long battery life ; decent camera ; Quick Charge 3.0

poor WiFi performance ; LTE not at full speed ; lots of bloatware ; no App2SD ; no NFC ; Android keys not backlit

Asus places a very stylish, 5.5-inch smartphone at the starting line that also convinces with inner values. With Qualcomm's Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor and 4 GB of RAM, the ZenFone has plenty of power that will be enough for all up-to-date...

Asus ZenFone 3 sapphire black

The ZenFone 3 looks like an iPhone and Samsung Galaxy S7 hybrid and feels especially premium compared to other phones that stick with metal or even plastic builds. And its USB Type-C port brings the handset into the growing ranks of phones that...

Asus' latest ZenFone 3 packs a premium design and materials into a brilliant, affordable phone.

Its cluttered user interface nags you with notifications until you turn them off. The glass rear is also a fingerprint magnet.

The ZenFone 3's beautiful looks, premium build and satisfying camera give it an advantage over other inexpensive phones -- it's worth your time and attention.

Asus ZenFone 3 review: from strength to strength

After the popular ZenFone 2, Asus made a comeback with a third device. This time, the Taiwanese manufacturer has opted for a more high-end design and is now rolling out the Android Nougat 7.0 upgrade to the Asus Zenfone 3. Just like the previous...

In-house manufacturing quality ; Bright screen ; Good camera ; Great battery life

Bloatware ; A thick design ; A high price

Last year, Asus succeeded in surprising me with the ZenFone 2. This year, it’s still the case. The ZenFone 3 is an accomplished smartphone that will please the public. The Taiwanese manufacturer has succeeded in achieving the higher standard that they...

Asus Zenfone 3 review: The best mid-range camera experience

I'll admit it: I wasn't expecting much from the Asus Zenfone 3.

Excellent camera ; Long-lasting battery life ; Large internal storage

Too much bloatware ; Underwhelming processing power ; Bland design

Hands-on Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe review: a Snapdragon 821 powerhouse

It's IFA 2016 and we've had a chance to go hands-on with the new Asus flagship. This metallic handset is part of a trio of upcoming Asus handsets, boasting 6 GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 821 processor in the more expensive variant. But does it offer...

In my brief time with the Zenfone 3 Deluxe, I was impressed. The device body is sophisticated, the display delivers and its camera was beyond my (possibly unfairly low) expectations.

ASUS ZenFone 3 review: The sexy mid-range phone to get

The new ZenFone 3 is out and ASUS has priced the model with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage at S$498. Can this mid-range phone justify its asking price and just how much has the ZenFone evolved from the previous generation? Find out in our full review here.

Stylish physical design ; First phone to use a Snapdragon 625 ; Good value for performance ; Long battery life

Minimal software upgrades

The ASUS ZenFone 3 is an excellent all-round successor to the ZenFone 2 series. It has a highly attractive physical design for its price point, and it runs well for a sub S$500 smartphone. We also liked it because of how much the ZenFone has progressed...
