Review: RIM BlackBerry 7130g & 7130c

Like the earlier 7100 series products, the two new models offer all the key features of the more PDA-like BlackBerrys such as the flagship 8700 series. They do voice, e-mail, text messaging and wireless data access, and include address book, Internet...

Bottom line: I could see little to complain about in this product - except perhaps the keyad/keyboard combo. The 7130g is a little sleeker, a little more elegant than predecessors and it includes some important upgrades. If you like the slimmer form...

The BlackBerry 7130g should be available in the UK from June 2006 onwards, presumably followed by O2 Germany shortly afterwards.

Blackberry 7130G Cell Phone Review

The new BlackBerry 7130g Wireless Handset - uncompromising phone, email and browsing performance in a small, lightweight, business phone design that elegantly combines the industry's most advanced hardware, software and network technologies.

Keypad, form factor, sound quality, Constant access to email wherever you are.

RIM BlackBerry 7130g

BlackBerry devices have been well known for their business use, with excellent email capabilities thanks to a full on-board QWERTY keyboard. But the d...

Push email convenience, Aesthetically pleasing, Display, Battery life, Lightweight

SureType keyboard does take some time to master, less than perfect design for left handers, touch screen and stylus omission diminishes PDA appeal

The SureType keyboard maybe initially cause some frustration, but once you get used to it, this is another excellent BlackBerry unit. A smaller size and a far more pleasing design should make the 7130g appeal to an even wider audience than usual.

Blackberry 7130g review

The latest BlackBerry is a candybar phone

Candybar form factor and shared keys ; POP or Exchange Server versions ; No better way to get email on the move

Only 64Mb of onboard memory

The BlackBerry 7130g is an impressive handheld

Blackberry 7130g smartphone

Beloved by celebs and stressed business types, the latest BlackBerry device is a slimed-down affair for the common man (or woman). If always-on email is important to your life, then this slimmer BlackBerry is a great little number.

It’s slimmer then most recent RIM offerings; push email is fantastic...

...but also incredibly addictive; compressed keyboard takes lots of getting used to; not as easy to set up as people claim

If always-on email is important to your life, then this slimmer BlackBerry is a great little number.

RIM BlackBerry 7130c

BlackBerry 7100

The RIM BlackBerry 7130c sports a very sleek and compact form factor, as well as a solid feature set that includes Bluetooth, EDGE support, and a speakerphone. The 7130c also has excellent call quality and can deliver e-mail in real time.

The SureType technology on the RIM BlackBerry 7130c takes some acclimation.

The RIM BlackBerry 7130c is an excellent phone and e-mail device for consumers and professionals alike; plus, it's one of the best-designed BlackBerrys we've seen to date.
