BlackBerry Curve 8530 (Virgin Mobile)

There are currently nine versions of the BlackBerry Curve 8530 for sale in the US. But the ones offered by Cricket, MetroPCS and Virgin Mobile demand special scrutiny. All three carriers sell this smartphone for a very low monthly rate, with no...

Very low monthly rates. Just enough smartphone power to get the job done

Subpar screen resolution, camera sensor, and Web browser

The BlackBerry Curve 8530 may be a low-end smartphone nowadays, but it's a great buy when combined with Virgin Mobile's low-priced, nationwide service plans.

BlackBerry Curve 8330 (inferno, Sprint)

We imagine Sprint customers have been waiting a long time for this, but the time has finally come. Yes, the RIM BlackBerry Curve 8330 is now available, and it brings the same great design of its GSM counterparts and even adds 3G to boot. Like the RIM...

The RIM BlackBerry Curve 8330 offers integrated GPS, Bluetooth 2.0, and EV-DO. The compact smartphone continues to offer solid messaging capabilities and includes support for a number of features that the Verizon model does not

The BlackBerry Curve 8330 lacks Wi-Fi, and call quality wasn't the greatest

Despite some spotty call quality, the RIM BlackBerry Curve 8330 for Sprint is a great messaging device with the bonus of EV-DO and integrated GPS. Plus, it offers more services than the Verizon BlackBerry Curve.

BlackBerry Curve 8330 (titanium, U.S. Cellular)

The RIM BlackBerry Curve series has proven to be a popular line for Research in Motion, making its way to every major U.S. carrier and even regional service providers like U.S. Cellular. Like its larger CDMA brothers, Sprint and Verizon Wireless, U.S....

The RIM BlackBerry Curve 8330 for U.S. Cellular offers good call quality and strong messaging capabilities. The smartphone also has Bluetooth, EV-DO support, and a 2-megapixel camera with video recording

You can't take full advantage of the Bluetooth or GPS capabilities since U.S. Cellular doesn't currently offer a location-based service or phone-as-a-modem plan

While lacking some advanced capabilities of the Sprint and Verizon Wireless versions, the RIM BlackBerry Curve 8330 for U.S. Cellular is still a good choice for customers in need of a solid messaging smartphone.

Heavenly Messaging on the BlackBerry 8330

The BlackBerry Curve 8830 may not match the iPhone in pure design elegance or in entertainment apps, but its ace in the hole--messaging--makes the 8830 well worth the money for hardcore messaging enthusiasts and business users.

BlackBerry Curve 8330 (Verizon Wireless)

Just as Sprint has been long overdue for the RIM BlackBerry Curve 8330, so has Verizon Wireless . However, the time has come for the carrier, and we're happy to say it was worth the wait. With its full QWERTY keyboard and well-rounded feature set, the...

The RIM BlackBerry Curve 8330 for Verizon Wireless offers integrated Bluetooth and GPS. The smartphone also delivers good call quality and strong messaging capabilities with a full QWERTY keyboard.

Unlike Sprint, Verizon doesn't offer support for its 3G streaming media services on the BlackBerry Curve 8330.

Though we wish the smartphone supported Verizon's VCast multimedia services, the RIM BlackBerry Curve 8330 is still an excellent smartphone that delivers on call quality and of course, e-mail.

Verizon Wireless BlackBerry Curve 8330

RIM's work-and-play smart phone for Verizon Wireless delivers strong call quality and some of the speediest browsing around.

The Verizon Wireless BlackBerry Curve 8330 is an excellent device for those who are looking for a messaging device that knows how to have some fun. Though Verizon Wireless also offers the BlackBerry 8830 World Edition that connects to both CDMA and GSM...

Sprint BlackBerry Curve 8330

RIM's smallest BlackBerry with a full QWERTY keyboard hooks up with Sprint's Music Store and TV, making this a great smart phone for work and play.

Sprint’s Curve 8330 is no doubt a powerhouse in terms of multimedia, although Sprint TV is more stable and compelling than the Sprint Music Store on this device. Add in the high-speed Web surfing over EV-DO and the Curve’s always great keyboard, and...

BlackBerry Curve 8330 (pink, Verizon Wireless)

AT&T may have scored the RIM BlackBerry 8820 last week, but we're thinking T-Mobile got the better deal with the just-announced RIM BlackBerry 8320, aka the BlackBerry Curve with Wi-Fi. Why? Well, first it has the same sleek design of the original...

The RIM BlackBerry 8320 offers integrated Wi-Fi and works with T-Mobile's HotSpot@Home service so you can make calls via Wi-Fi. The smartphone also features a nice, sleek design; a spacious QWERTY keyboard; a 2-megapixel camera; popular IM clients; and...

The Curve's camera can't record videos, and there's no 3G support. The BlackBerry Web browser isn't quite as sophisticated as those on competing smartphones

The RIM BlackBerry Curve (aka BlackBerry 8320) for T-Mobile is the best BlackBerry we've seen to date as it offers Wi-Fi, best-of-breed design, and excellent performance.

BlackBerry Curve 8330 (Alltel)

On Alltel's network, the Curve sounds as beautiful as ever. Reception is excellent, and volume is pretty much perfect, with no distortion even at the top level. And the speakerphone is loud and clear. Curves are among the best voice phones we've...

Excellent voice quality. Easy to use. Terrific keyboard

No AIM or GPS apps

Sprint's model is still the best of the Curves, but this BlackBerry will satisfy Alltel users looking to stay connected.
