RIM BlackBerry Curve 8330 - red (Sprint)

By (cnet.com)

The RIM BlackBerry Curve 8330 offers integrated GPS, Bluetooth 2.0, and EV-DO. The compact smartphone continues to offer solid messaging capabilities and includes support for a number of features that the Verizon model does not

The BlackBerry Curve 8330 lacks Wi-Fi, and call quality wasn't the greatest

Despite some spotty call quality, the RIM BlackBerry Curve 8330 for Sprint is a great messaging device with the bonus of EV-DO and integrated GPS. Plus, it offers more services than the Verizon BlackBerry Curve.

The carrier's location-based service offers turn-by-turn text- and voice...

RIM BlackBerry Curve 8330 (Verizon Wireless)

By Bonnie Cha (zdnet.com)

Just as Sprint has been long overdue for the RIM BlackBerry Curve 8330, so has Verizon Wireless. However, the time has come for the carrier, and we're happy to say it was worth the wait. With its full QWERTY keyboard and well-rounded feature set, the ...

The RIM BlackBerry Curve 8330 for Verizon Wireless offers integrated Bluetooth and GPS. The smartphone also delivers good call quality and strong messaging capabilities with a full QWERTY keyboard.

Unlike Sprint, Verizon doesn't offer support for its 3G streaming media services on the BlackBerry Curve 8330.

Though we wish the smartphone supported Verizon's VCast multimedia services, the RIM BlackBerry Curve 8330 is still an excellent smartphone that delivers on call quality and of course, e-mail.

"Phone will give you Testicular Cancer"

By Andrew91352 (cnet.com)

Sorry RIM...I used to think you were the best...

Keep it in your pocket and you know your phone will ring before it rings when you feel a sharp squeeze on your testicle. Very strong radiation levels if you're into that

If you value your health, look into a different phone. Without a doubt, this phone causes headaches and testicular cancer. 29 year old fit male on vegitarian diet. I paid a testicle for this phone

"great email integration. Lousy phone and web browser"

By mwarrant (cnet.com)

I received this as our new company standard. ...

If you're looking for a mobile email and calendar reader, this is a great device. the wireless syncing capability with Outlook is fantastic

If you use your phone outside metropolitan areas, phone reception is only so-so. I am a business user so don't care about music and video. Web browsing is okay as long as you don't actually have to do real work. Blackberry's browser is very slow

Great product design, good size, easy to use for messaging. Idea device design

GPS requires purchasing VZ Nav service for $15. They should tell you this upfront. They locked down the GPS function on this device to only work with VZ service so freeware like Google Maps will not work very well, if at all. 3G also false
