HTC HD Mini review

We had to exercise our neglected patience muscle with this one, but at long last we've gotten ahold of a real live HD Mini and put it through its paces.

Excellent camera and album for casual pics ; Sense makes up for a lot of WinMo's foibles ; Effortless email and social networking setup

Fiddly back cover and no hard camera button ; Browsers have rendering issues ; Better alternatives exist costing not much more

HTC HD mini review: Smart pup

There was a time when Windows Mobile used to rule the smartphone seas. Then along came Symbian but that's a whole other story. It was touchscreen that showed to all the willing challengers that Windows Mobile is just too big to turn around quickly...

3.2" 65K-color HVGA capacitive touchscreen with multi-touch input ; Compact body and bold industrial design ; Windows Mobile 6.5.3 Professional OS with Sense UI ; Qualcomm MSM7227 600 MHz CPU and 384MB RAM ; Quad-band GSM support with dual-band HSDPA...

Poor display sunlight legibility ; No dedicated camera key and no lens cover ; Card slot under the battery cover ; No DivX/XviD video support out-of-the-box ; Preloaded CoPilot Live navigation software is a trial version only ; No secondary video-call...

So, mini is perhaps the right approach to users who would otherwise feel timid about giving Windows Mobile a try – especially with so many touchscreen temptations around. On the other hand, it does matter whose mini version it is. The almighty HD2 was...

HTC HD mini Review

It sounds like a recipe for success: take the surprisingly popular HTC HD2 , shrink it down some, and offer it as a more pocketable alternative. Yet out of the three devices HTC announced at Mobile World Congress in February, the HTC HD mini has...

Do you disagree with the bigger-is-better camp? Fear not, HTC has those with small pockets covered with the upcoming release of its scaled down HD2.

HTC HD mini Review

At this year's MWC, HTC, the premier Windows Mobile phone manufacturer, officially announced what's maybe one of the last smartphones to run the condemned Windows Mobile 6.x.x OS - the HTC HD mini. As the HD mini arrives at this world during what's...

HTC HD Mini Review

At its price point, HTC's scaled down Windows Mobile device doesn't have much going for it.

Weighing in at 110g, the HD Mini feels tight in the hands and gives off strength and sturdiness. The four visible screws also play a subconscious part in making it feel stronger than it could be. Clever little trick there, HTC!

HTC HD Mini Review

The HTC HD Mini is the subject of this review. The HTC HD mini is a high performance phone that is fully customizable. It can do more than just make calls; the HTC HD Mini is a device that connects you to the world.

Mini Size, Maxi Features: The HTC HD Mini Reviewed

Not too long ago, HTC introduced the HD2, which featured just about everything a Windows Mobile smartphone buyer could ask for. But it also had a couple of characteristics, namely comparatively large size and heavy weight, that didn't thrill some...

Good performance ; Small and light - fits nicely in your hand and your pocket ; Capacitive touchscreen is responsive with fluid scrolling ; Most thoroughly "touch enabled" WM phone yet

Capacitive buttons on front panel too easy to hit by accident ; Back cover difficult to remove ; Doesn't support 3G for AT&T

HTC HD Mini Review

High end smartphones are all the rage these days, and high premium devices are at the center point of it. And what other company would know better about premium mobile experiences than the one which claims that We make expensive phones.

HTC HD Mini Review

The HTC HD Mini is a very decent device that has a few fundamental flaws preventing it from being classified as a usable phone, which we feel is of utmost important for any handset. The price is also on the higher side, which sadly means, we cannot...

Compact and well built, Crisp screen, Sense UI is very functional, Good all round performance

Over priced, Windows Mobile 6.5 is pretty archaic, Onscreen QWERTY is a joke
