Review Google Nexus 4 Smartphone

Lucky number four. Long awaited, incessantly discussed and sold out even faster - Google's latest Nexus device raises the battle cry against other high-performance smartphones with an unrivaled price of 349 Euros (~$450) for the 16 GB version and 299...

High-quality workmanship, Good price-performance ratio, Always the latest Android version, Very good performance (quad-core), Temperature development, Attractive design, Camera featuring Photo Sphere, Near-field communication, HDMI port via adapter...

Problems with reconnecting to Wi-Fi networks, Non-removable battery, No micro-SD slot, No LTE planned for Germany, 12 month warranty only, Better battery runtime to compensate for the drawback of the non-removable lithium ion battery wouldn't hurt. A...

Google Nexus 4 Review

This page contains a full review of the Google Nexus 4, a world smartphone that will be sold unlocked for $299. It has been designed by Google and built by LG to represent what a pure Android experience is.

The Nexus 4 is an excellent smartphone that delivers top performance and features a stylish design for a sweet price. Getting the unlocked version at $299 is certainly the best value proposition of the new Google phone, especially if you take into...

Google Nexus 4 review: Royal road

It's the next-generation Nexus and this time LG has the privilege. And when Google goes "My pleasure!", they most likely mean it. The Nexus 4 aggressively undercuts competitors' pricing as it sets out to wipe the floor with most of them in terms of...

Flagship specs at a bargain ; Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support ; Penta-band 3G with DC-HSPA, up to 42Mbps downlink, HSUPA up to 5.76Mbps uplink ; 4.7" 16M-color WXGA True HD IPS Plus (768 x 1280 pixels) capacitive touchscreen, Gorilla Glass 2 ; Stock...

No microSD card slot, no versions with more storage ; Mediocre display sunlight legibility ; Non user-replaceable battery ; Camera is less than stellar, no shutter key either ; No LTE support (not official anyway, and then only one band)

Top of the line chipset, an excellent screen and the latest Android version - does it get better than this? Well, if you are Google, it actually does. The Nexus 4 is a proper flagship smartphone, but with a mid-market price tag. It costs just €300/$300...

T-Mobile LG Nexus 4 Review

The difference between the Google Play Nexus 4 and the T-Mobile Nexus 4 is neither in the hardware nor in the software, but in the cost and agreement you'll be making with T-Mobile – but that doesn't mean we can't give some more time to Google's own...

The only thing you’ll want to keep your eye on is the fact that this device does not work with 4G LTE – if you need data speed in a mobile way, this isn’t your best bet – not yet, anyway. If you’re in the shade of the great wi-fi gods on the regular:...

Google Nexus 4 review

The LG-built Nexus 4 offers terrific value for money, if you don't mind its moderate battery life and lack of LTE support. Shame it's currently sold out at Google's Play store.

Excellent value for money ; Quad-core processor ; Latest Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS ; Pleasing design and solid construction ; Wireless charging support

Moderate battery life ; Lacks LTE support ; Non-replaceable battery ; No storage expansion ; Currently out of stock at Google Play store

Like all high-end smartphones, the Nexus 4 is bristling with sensors — accelerometer, compass, ambient light, gyroscope and barometer (the latter's primary purpose being to deliver altitude data for faster GPS lock-on).

Google Nexus 4 Review - Google's new Flagship

The Nexus One was a groundbreaking device. It was the defining moment that Google got serious about making both a real consumer electronic, and pitting the Android platform against the incumbent iOS. While you could make the case that the original...

Google Nexus 4 (Unlocked)

For the Android purist, only an unlocked Nexus phone will do—since carrier-subsidized Android phones are somewhat compromised, thanks to their skins, carrier modifications, and infrequent OS updates. Enter the Google Nexus 4 ($299 direct), a totally...

Attractive, minimalist design. Bright display. Fast quad-core performance. Latest Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS. Fast HSPA+ 42 data speeds on T-Mobile. Improved localized search results with Google Now

Slow HSPA+ 21 data speeds on AT&T. Mediocre camera and camcorder. Ineffective voice dialing. Gets warm

LG's Google Nexus 4 is a powerful unlocked smartphone with a beautiful, minimalist design, fast performance, and the latest version of Android.

Nexus 4 review

Movie sequels often don't live up to the hype of the original blockbuster, but the same isn't always true of smartphones -- on the contrary, they

Beautiful and vibrant 720p display ; Very affordable price ; Pentaband HSPA ; Android 4.2 delivers new features ; Solid performance

Doesn't support LTE

It may not be the best phone on the planet, but its high-end specs, elegant build and incredibly affordable price make it worth throwing your money at.

Nexus 4 review

Getting the Nexus 4 for review was something of a treat for me. I've been anticipating the arrival of a follow-up (and upgrade) from the company's previous flagship device — the Galaxy Nexus — for...

Improved build quality ; Android 4.2 is fantastic ; Excellent price for a device of this caliber

Lacks LTE ; Screen a bit washed out ; Glass backing breaks easily

It's easily the best Android phone on the market, save for one small thing
