Ipaq 910C Business Messenger

In the world of smart phones, while Apple's TV ads insist that the company's iPhone 3G "works great with work" and BlackBerry fans eagerly await RIM's BlackBerry Bold, Hewlett-Packard's new Windows Mobile 6.1-based iPaq 910c Business Messenger offers...

Lots of business extras Great keyboard, Wi-Fi and GPS options

Expansion SD card slot limited to 4GB Headset uses mini-USB port

I would definitely recommend the HP to hard-core business users who can benefit from its enterprise software--as long as they can live with its expansion-card limitations

HP iPAQ 910c Business Messenger

Though more well-known for its laptops and desktop PCs , HP is no stranger to smartphones. The company has released several models in the past, including the HP iPaq hw6945 Mobile Messenger and the HP iPaq 510 Voice Messenger , both of which have...

The HP iPaq 910c Business Messenger features Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and 3G support. The Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone also offers strong messaging capabilities with a full QWERTY keyboard, and a 3-megapixel camera.

The iPaq 910c is bulky and the screen size is a bit small. The smartphone is expensive and can be sluggish at times. The phone's speaker is also on the soft side.

The HP iPaq 910c offers mobile professionals a well-stocked, messaging-centric smartphone, but it faces stiff competition from the likes of HTC, Samsung, and Motorola.

HP iPAQ 910

HP's venerable iPAQ handheld line has seen its ups and downs over the years. But today, the company's tight enterprise focus distinguishes it from its competitors. Even Research In Motion, the perennial business-handset manufacturer, has pushed into...

Good voice quality and reception. Includes Wi-Fi, GPS, and HSDPA radios. Useful selection of hardware controls. Superb QWERTY keyboard with built-in document editing

A bit hefty. Mediocre camera despite its 3-megapixel sensor. Weak speakerphone

The business-class HP iPAQ 910 offers a powerful array of features, well-thought-out hardware controls, and an excellent QWERTY keyboard. It's a near-perfect mobile office for corporate environments running Microsoft apps.

All Business, With a Little Bit of Fun...the HP910c Business Manager

I've owned numerous HP iPAQs over the years -- from the venerable 1950 through the Jornada series to the Messengers. While HP is not always the first with the latest and greatest features on their PDAs, I've always been impressed by the quality and...

Solidly built, very reliable, lightweight and easily pocketable ; Keyboard feel/design works well to prevent keying errors -- very solid tactile response ; GPS sensitivity and stability is excellent ; Battery life is very good

Accessories package is a bit light -- should have included a cover/case and a second stylus ; The position of the USB sync port and its rubber cover are a pain to work around

HP iPAQ 910 Business Messenger

This Windows Mobile smartphone caters to the business crowd with push e-mail, 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity, and a QWERTY keyboard. But it suffers from poor Internet experience and call volume.

Sharp display; responsive OS; comfortable keypad; Wi-Fi; 3G

Bulkier than most smartphones; tough-to-master scroll wheel; low call volume; poor Internet experience

Call quality on the iPAQ 910 was good, but far from stellar. Voices were clear in both directions, but we quickly hit the unit's volume limit. The phone's mono speaker was also weak when used as a speakerphone or with alarms and music. In our...

Review: HP IPAQ 910 smartphone review

HP's iPAQ 910 is a tri-band HSDPA 3G capable smartphone that runs the Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional OS and features a QVGA touchscreen as well as a 3 megapixel autofocus camera. It might not be sexy, but it's great for business.

Would have like to see excel or word documents discplayed.

HP iPAQ 910 Business Messenger

As a business user, my needs for a Windows Mobile device tend to be very demanding. I am usually after the perfect combination of small and light,

Sleek and elegant design ; Affordable price ; Unlocked quadband GSM and triband UMTS ; WiFi/HSDPA/aGPS

Buggy ; Inadequate battery life ; Screen is not flush ; Lacks essential accessories ; Cannot change screen orientation ; Lacks FM Radio ; Lack of UI enhancements

Cons aside, the design simply falls under what I would call a nice looking piece of hardware. I simply can't avoid people staring at it and asking me where they can buy one. HP does need to go back to the drawing board immediately and fix the bugs to...
