Pre 3

This is a review of a phone that was never actually released to the public on AT&T. Despite the unfortunateness of the prior statement, we felt obligated to run this device through the wringer as a final farewell to Palm, the Pre line and webOS on...

Stunning display ; webOS is beautiful to use ; Extraordinarily rare

Difficult to find ; Not on sale to the public ; webOS is dead

The Pre 3 is living proof that Palm had it in 'em, but with webOS all but dead, it's left to be an amazing collectible.

HP Pre 3

Palm fans might be saddened to see the "Palm" name vanish from the device.. but on the other hand, they will probably very much like the HP Pre 3's hugely improved feature set.

iPhone-sized device that runs webOS, with decent specs

This phone is not about muscle, is about brain. There's nothing more useless than a great hardware with anoying software, unintuitive OS, or complicate ways to multitask. Just a fact: no one that uses webOS comes back to any other platform without...

webOS is just the best UI, intuitive as iOS, functional as Android, and built for multitasking like no other. It's a revolution on UI just the same as Macintosh was. On smartphones, apps are not as important as the UI, at least for regular people

This OS is very slow when opening apps. That ruins most of the experience. 1.4GHz is enough to fix this? Let's hope so. Other problem are apps, not because they're important, but becasue they lure the number of costumers that make the OS relevant

long live webOS ...maybe :)

If after the apple / android assault, you're still here, reading this, using webOS, well then long live webOS. Maybe. Us few remaining webOS users know why webOS is superior, so no use repeating.

Vendor poor communication with me !

As the phone is not unlocked, but the vendor did not clearly indicate the unlocked code ...
