HTC 7 Pro (U.S. Cellular)

The HTC 7 Pro offers U.S. Cellular subscribers a big, powerful smartphone with a luxurious, five-row QWERTY keyboard.

Stellar, five-row QWERTY keyboard. Smooth, responsive OS. Good call quality. Loud speakerphone.

Heavy. Short battery life. No Wi-Fi hotspot mode. No microSD card slot. Small screen isn't particularly colorful. Windows Phone 7 still lacks third-party app support.

Multimedia, Camera, and Conclusions There is a standard size 3.5mm headphone jack, plus 16GB of internal storage for media files, with about 13.7GB free. There's no microSD card slot or USB mass storage mode, though; you must sync the phone with a PC...

HTC 7 Pro (U.S. Cellular) review: HTC 7 Pro (U.S. Cellular)

HTC 7 Pro (U.S. Cellular)

The ; features a durable design with a responsive QWERTY keyboard, a tilting screen, and support for HD video recording and playback.

The HTC 7 Pro's heavy and bulky body will weigh some people down. Its camera could be better, and the screen is dull compared with the screens on other Windows phones.

U.S. Cellular's first Windows Phone 7 phone is a solid effort, although the HTC 7 Pro will disappoint those looking for a large, vibrant screen.

HTC 7 Pro Review

Of all Microsoft's launch partners for Windows Phone, HTC led the pack from the gate with the most devices. The HTC 7 Pro has taken the longest to arrive, frustratingly given it's the model we were most interested in, pairing Windows Phone 7 with a...

There’s a lot we like about the HTC 7 Pro. Windows Phone 7 is a solid platform with plenty of promise, and while the third-party app selection pales in comparison to what Android and iOS offer, that’s not to say you won’t find the titles to suit you...

HTC 7 Pro Review

Here enters the HTC 7 Pro, the last of the announced HTC Windows Phone 7 handsets to come, which adds a physical keyboard in the mix. There is another WP7 device with a slide-out physical QWERTY - the LG Quantum on AT&T - but let's see how this one...

HTC 7 Pro Reviewed

The HTC 7 Pro was announced alongside a plethora of other Windows Phone 7 handsets in October of 2010. The 7 Pro has been the most delayed, now finally being offered in Germany under O2 and set to debut at Sprint in the U.S. in late January. This...

Overall the HTC 7 Pro comes in as an 'Average' smartphone in today's extremely competitive environment. It's quite a shame that it has taken so long for the HTC 7 Pro to debut to the public. After the amazing showing from competitors at the 2011...

PHOTOVIEW: HTC 7 Pro Windows Phone 7 with Slide-out Keyboard

Announced back in October by HTC as the first CDMA Windows Phone 7 smartphone, the HTC 7 Pro will be available as a GSM/UMTS version too. The HTC 7 Pro will be the first European Windows Phone 7 keyboard-slider and as all Windows Phone 7 smartphones,...

HTC 7 Pro

This is a Windows Phone 7 handset, and the main differentiator between this and other HTC WP7 devices is the slide-out QWERTY keyboard. Other features include a 3.6" 480 x 800 pixel display, a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash and HD video...

HTC Pro 7

Fancy a Windows Phone, but don't like touchscreen typing? The Pro 7, with it's slide out keyboard, might be the answer.

Excellent build quality, Generally easy to use, Physical button for camera really useful

Slideout keyboard could be better, Windows Phone still limited, Not enough apps

An identical Windows Phone 7 experience that adds support for touchscreen haters

Overall, we're not sure we can recommend the HTC 7 Pro over other QWERTY devices out there simply because the keyboard is so ill-thought out. even if you're a noted touchscreen hater but are desperate for Windows Phone 7, we suggest you check out the...

HTC 7 Pro review

The HTC 7 Pro brings a keyboard to the Windows Phone 7 party

Long battery life ; Solid build ; Nice screen tilt when keyboard is out ; Great sound quality ; Clear, sharp screen

No Flash ; No desktop Outlook sync ; Forced reliance on Zune over drag and drop ; No removable storage ; Keyboard is among the poorest we've seen from HTC

Windows Phone 7 has been with us since last October, where the first flurry of handsets came quickly with a trio from HTC, the HD7, HTC 7 Mozart and HTC 7 Trophy being joined by the Samsung Omnia 7 and LG Optimus 7.
