HTC Freestyle (AT&T)

The HTC Freestyle has a solid, user-friendly design with all the essential features you need for communication.

The HTC Freestyle lacks an accelerometer and Wi-Fi. The speakerphone is barely usable, and there are too many superfluous apps.

For the right user, the HTC Freestyle offers a beginner smartphone experience without the high price.

HTC Freestyle (AT&T)

There's no accelerometer, but the Menu key has a landscape shortcut button for the browser and SMS. You get on-screen QWERTY keyboards in both portrait and landscape modes. Typing was accurate and relatively quick, given the slightly cramped screen...

Surprisingly slick UI for a feature phone. Expansive, responsive touch screen. Svelte aluminum design

Mediocre camera. Evil bloatware. MicroSD card slot buried under the battery release mechanism

HTC rewrites the feature phone playbook with the Freestyle, a powerful multimedia device for AT&T with a beautiful user interface.

The Freestyle's slick HTC Sense UI layer makes this a feature phone like no other. AT&T has also refrained from its usual practice of requiring a data plan with the Freestyle, meaning that the Freestyle can serve a wide berth of customers with varying...

"If I could rate less than 1/2 a star, I would."

Most people are reporting receiving no more than 7 duplicate texts at a time, but I've gotten up to 15 at a time! I received the first page of a two page text 11 times today, and the second page arrived 30-45 minutes later. I'm on my second phone, and...

"Iv had this for 1 year and had nothing but problems!"

"TERRIBLE PHONE - DO NOT BUY!"

We returned it and AT&T replaced it with the same model.

Full keyboard, but not a SmartPhone

We bought a $150 HTC Freestyle phone from AT&T. It did not work. It freezes, gives "system error" messages, goes to sleep and won't come back on, texting is slow and you can't move pictures, videos or music between the phone and a computer.

"Avoid this phone and AT&T."

We have been completely disappointed with this phone and AT&T. Trying to get AT&T to own up to the fact that this device is not operating is exhausting. In one call to AT&T's warranty center we were treated to someone we could not...

Nothing positive to say about this phone and AT&T

Two members of our group selected this phone and AT&T were all behind this selection. Within weeks the phone malfunction and that's when AT&T began the run around. Must a been a bad batch or some other excuse. AT&T requires you go thru three p
