HTC Imagio

If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, Apple had better be blushing at the sight of the HTC Imagio. Running Windows Mobile 6.5, this Verizon Wireless mobile handset not only looks like an iPhone on the outside, but feels like one too thanks to...

TouchFlo 3D interface ; clean styling throughout ; solid feel

Heavy ; typing out an e-mail or text message without the stylus is frustrating ; slow start-up time

The Imagio is a solid Windows 6.5 handset and is a step in the right direction for both Verizon and HTC

HTC Imagio

This work-and-play Windows phone offers a good touch interface and smooth TV playback.

At $199, the HTC Imagio is a fairly priced smart phone for what you get: the solid TouchFLO user interface, a good camera/camcorder, Wi-Fi, TV, GPS, and a sleek design. If you want to sacrifice the TV for a full QWERTY keyboard, we suggest you check...

HTC Imagio (Verizon Wireless)

Verizon Wireless' V Cast video and music service bundle has long been a staple feature of its high-profile feature phones, like the LG enV Touch and the Samsung Rogue for example. But it is typically lacking in Verizon's smartphone offerings, so as not...

The HTC Imagio has support for Verizon's V Cast Mobile TV and the carrier's array of V Cast multimedia services. It also has Windows Mobile 6.5, a slew of productivity apps, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, EV-DO Rev. A, and world phone capabilities. We love the...

The HTC Imagio's microSD card is located behind the battery cover and the call quality can be a little choppy

The HTC Imagio is rich with both multimedia and business features, making it a great all-in-one smartphone for the Verizon globe-trotter.

HTC Imagio

The HTC Imagio is Verizon's best smartphone in a long time. It's Verizon's first device to come with Windows Mobile 6.5 out of the box. It's also the first smartphone to feature genuine broadcast mobile TV. Overall, the Imagio is a powerful touchscreen...

Sharp screen resolution and UI design. Global 3G roaming. Broadcast mobile TV looks great. Excellent Web browsing

Playing videos is a pain. A little sluggish and buggy at times

The HTC Imagio could signal a comeback for Microsoft smartphones due to its refreshed Windows Mobile 6.5 OS, its beautiful TouchFLO 3D interface, and genuine broadcast mobile television.

HTC Imagio XV6975 Review

One of the more successful smartphones for Verizon over the past year has been the HTC Touch Diamond. We were hoping to see a Verizon release of the Touch Diamond2 later this year, but it appears that the HTC Imagio XV6975 will take the place of the...

HTC Imagio Review

This multimedia-oriented smartphone has a 3.6-inch, WVGA touchscreen, mobile broadband, Wi-Fi, and GPS, and is one of the successors of the HTC Touch HD

Large, high-resolution screen ; Solid build quality ; Well stocked with software

Inconsistent speed ; Less memory than it should have

A few oversights aside, it's a well designed and well built piece of hardware

HTC Imagio Review: HTC Is Microsoft's Best Critic

For Windows Mobile 6.5, the OS is only (and thankfully) half the story. Microsoft left plenty up to the carriers and handset manufacturers, and with the Imagio, Verizon and HTC have at least created something interesting.

If not spectacular. Of the bulging ranks of 528MHz-Qualcomm-based touchscreen handsets, this is one of my favorite permutations. For its size, the Imagio is respectably thin—about as thick as an iPhone, but with a noticeably larger screen—and...
