HTC Inspire 4G

HTC was the first smartphone manufacturer to work with Google, and its experience shows. In the past three years, the company has grown from being a bit player in the small smartphone space to a leading phone manufacturer with close to 10 percent of...

HTC Sense is great for new and experienced Android fans ; Low $99 price ; 4.3-inch screen is spacious

No front-facing camera ; Speakers are a bit weak ; Battery cover is difficult to remove ; Still runs Android 2.2

The HTC Inspire 4G is a fantastic Android phone and it's one of the best values on AT&T.

HTC Inspire Is Short on Looks, Big on Everything Else

I'm not always sure where HTC draws its inspiration from. But the new Inspire, the latest top-tier Android phone offered by AT&T, definitely filled me with a sense of déjà vu.

Powerful phone at a great price. Lookit that screen! Dual mic noise canceling keeps calls clear. Overhauled Sense UI is snappy. Finally, a camera worth using. Built in DLNA for streaming media to home theaters

Accessing the battery results in broken fingernails. Hotspot occasionally drops devices (like they're hot) and tethering service will cost you extra. Headphone jack is woefully located at the bottom of the phone

HTC Inspire 4G (AT&T)

HTC and AT&T have delivered a very capable Android phone at an affordable price, but we wish the data speeds were faster.

The HTC Inspire 4G is certainly one of the better Android phones you can buy in this price range. For $99, you get a large display for surfing the web and watching videos, mobile hotspot capability, and a sharp camera and camcorder. And music lovers...

HTC Inspire 4G (black, AT&T)

The 4G wars are on, and the carriers are getting quite aggressive in their campaigns. Though a little slow to start, AT&T has finally joined the fray and announced at CES 2011 that it would launch its LTE network in mid-2011 and release 20 4G devices...

The HTC Inspire 4G is affordably priced and boasts a large display. The Android 2.2 smartphone runs on AT&T's HSPA+ network and offers mobile hot-spot capabilities. New HTC Sense provides faster boot time and other enhancements. It also has an...

The smartphone is rather large and heavy, and the battery cover is difficult to remove. We didn't experience great 4G speeds. AT&T blocks third-party apps. Lacks a front-facing camera

Though dual-core phones are on the way, the HTC Inspire 4G stands as one of AT&T's best, high-end Android devices and is an incredible value.

HTC Inspire 4G

The HTC Inspire 4G is an excellent addition to AT&T's somewhat bare lineup of Android phones, but we had a hard time achieving "4G" speeds in our tests.

HTC Inspire 4G (AT&T)

The Inspire 4G won't save you from dropped calls. Tested side by side with an iPhone 4, I actually connected fewer calls in a weak signal area than on the iPhone. Oh, well. With decent AT&T signal, though, the Inspire 4G did just fine. Voices sound...

Inexpensive. Powerful. Lots of built-in apps and features

4G speeds underwhelming. Android customization will enrage purists

The HTC Inspire 4G, AT&T's premiere Android phone (at least for now) can hold its own against the iPhone 4 and other top smartphones.

HTC Inspire 4G Review

Well hello there you larger than life HTC handset! But what do we have here? It's none other than a re-branded HTC Desire HD we've seen already overseas which is making its way onto AT&T's lineup featuring support for the carrier's HSPA+ network. Plus,...

HTC Inspire 4G

Sleek, affordable HTC Inspire 4G lags on 4G data speeds

Price ; Large screen ; Easy-to-use menus ; Excellent call quality ; Impressive camera

Large and slightly heavy ; Data speeds slow for 4G ; Battery cover difficult to remove

Review: HTC Inspire 4G for AT&T review

The HTC Inspire 4G, like the Motorola ATRIX 4G, is one AT&T's first devices capable of running on its 4G HSPA+ network. It offers a stunning industrial design, a top notch user interface, and an high-spec camera. While some might find that its 4.3-inch...

Beautiful hardware design, fast 1GHz processor, large 4.3-inch screen, good camera

Sub-3G data speeds on a "4G" device, mediocre battery life, quiet speaker

Sense, which I mentioned earlier, can be used to customize the phone to your tastes. For one, HTC offers a bundle of its own widgets that includes a beautiful clock/weather widget and a Friend Stream widget for keeping up with the latest updates from...
