HTC Ozone (Verizon Wireless)

It's no secret that Windows Mobile isn't getting a lot of love lately. But the HTC Ozone makes a great case for its aging OS. For just $49, it offers 3G, Wi-Fi, and GPS radios. The Ozone syncs with PCs, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Exchange...

True world phone at a bargain price. Includes 3G and Wi-Fi radios. Classier look and better keyboard than the Sprint version. Excellent battery life. Snappy performance

Creaky OS. No standard-size headphone jack. Weak software bundle

Verizon one-ups Sprint with its superior version of the HTC Snap (called the Ozone), adding world phone capability, better battery life, and classier styling, all for $100 less than Sprint's price.

HTC Ozone (Verizon Wireless)

The HTC Ozone is Verizon Wireless' answer to Sprint's HTC Snap. Though its design is slightly different, it offers many of the same features and is positioned toward the same group of messaging-savvy users. In a great move, Verizon added Wi-Fi and...

The HTC Ozone offers an e-mail and messaging-centric feature set that includes EV-Do Rev. A, Wi-Fi, GPS and support for overseas GSM networks. Call quality is quite respectable

The HTC Ozone's controls and keypad don't have the best design. Also, it lacks HTC's Inner Circle feature, the volume level is low and GSM data support tops out at EDGE

Though its plastic design and photo quality are unchanged, the HTC Ozone offers a more affordable price tag, improved features, and better voice quality than its Sprint HTC Snap counterpart.

The HTC Ozone offers worldwide roaming, along with fast performance, solid battery life, and a classy look for a mere $49 with contract.

Should be so much more

I have two phones, a Nokia E63, and the Ozone. The E63 is the same price, and so much better. First, and most importantly, battery life. The E63 goes nearly a week between charges, the Ozone, only about a day and a half. They both have the same watt...

Small phone that does the basics well

Overall, its a great phone for the money. Great if you don't do a lot of texting or apps, but just need a good phone for contacting to email and calendar.

Small size, GPS, Wi-fi, great price. I've had this phone for over a year. Not too many problems, occasional lock-up (maybe 7 times over the last year). I switched from an old Treo and have been happy with how well this phone functions

The web browsing is slow on non-mobile websites (it struggles if the website has a lot of content). The keyboard is cramped. Not many apps for this operating system

I can't wait to get this darn thing replaced. I am a grad student with a full schedule, so I don't have time to constantly take the battery out and restart everything.

It's attractive and easy to operate. I like how it separates text messages by each person because it makes it easier to find a specific text message if you know who sent it

This thing freezes on me at least twice a day. Sometimes when someone calls it'll vibrate and say "incoming call" in the upper left corner, but it will not show me who is calling or let me answer. The internet is slow and can't always be accessed

"Great little phone!"

I don't know what phone these other folks hav...

Style - love the classy black - I know its a cheesy like, but nice

Web page (Verizon Wireless no less!) froze on me. Security warning kept asking me if I wanted to proceed. Gave up trying on that one, but for the most part, its the first glitch I've had

"Sigh... at least it was free."

The issues with contacts in my phone book is ...

It's a neat setup, I can Wi-Fi on my home network. Its pretty quick when browsing the web on it

It's very constricting on how you set up your contacts. I can't even add someone's full name because there's too many letters in it. That alone is enough to ditch this phone. Mobile Messenger on here is awful. Droid Incredible, hurry up
