HTC P3600: Pocket PCs go all iPod

By Sandra Vogel (cnet.co.uk)

Cool design; lots of wireless features; accessible memory slot; easy-to-use camera

Camera lacks self-portrait mirror and flash

The HTC P3600 is a lovely little Pocket PC with just about every trick up its sleeve. It looks good, it has every flavour of connectivity you could imagine, it packs plenty of memory and its front-facing camera means 3G video calling is on the cards

It is not beyond the bounds of possibility that the HTC P3600 will experience...

Dopod D810

By David Hall (imobile.com.au)

Relatively new to Australia, Dopod was first seen down under on the mass market when Three took on the 838Pro and 565 models earlier this year. The D810 is the latest handset to be picked up by Three, and is loosely based on the 838Pro.

My personal favourite feature of the Dopod D810 is the wide range of connecti...

Loved the D810 - Just make sure you update the ROM to the very latest version. Early ROM releases were a little 'average' - the last one was great. Picked up a few Dopod 838Pro's from www.pressdigital.com.au for $675 so that's what we're all using now.

Stable final ROM. Light, performs really well

Make sure you soft reset daily as preventative maintenance.

Not so great!!! Only gains a 5 star rating because of its features, otherwise its only about 3.5 out of 10.

- Features. WiFi etc... - Large screen

- Too many bugs. The drop down menu continuously pops up on its own (which drains the battery), and when it finally stops the screen freezes. (VERY annoying and disappointing.) - Slow - No qwerty keyboard. - Black coating is peeling off a little.
