Good for its time

When i got this phone almost 3 years ago it was, in my opinion, the best option out there (alot of that had to do with software availability and "hackability"). Now it is slow, the wireless part of it isn't stellar, the winmo OS is long in the tooth...

Pros, solidly built, stable OS(s), OS somewhat upgradable, keyboard. For the price that new egg is giving not bad

SLOW, this phone is insanely slow compared to some other phones i have seen, not easy to upgrade the OS (and can only ug to v6.5 (OS upgrade did not affect speed), big n heavy, wifi/bluetooth/GPS/GSM are so-so at best

Great Phone! Just heavy

Overall, I am VERY pleased with this device. It's a minor upgrade for me because the last phone that I had was it's brother, the T-Mobile Wing. That phone was slow and didn't have a ROM upgrade, which means that I was stuck with no threaded messaging....

It's a very sleek and stylish device. Comes stock with Windows Mobile 6.1. The tilting screen is the absolute BEST feature of the phone. The keyboard is also nice. The number pad is not hidden in the phone. TONS of storage space! Maybe the best in it's...

The phone is a bit heavy. I don't know why because the other HTC devices that came out that year, weren't as heavy and they were all just about the same size ; Another thing is that the screen has a tendency to just stop working for about 10 seconds....

Tilt = brick phone

Feature rich when it works

Everything broke on this phone. I got one when they were new from phone company who discontinued due to poor quality. The touch screen went black, the keyboard stop working in less than three months. Terrible touch screen and clumsy windows mobile...

Very nice phone!

It would be nice if the sylus was connected to the phone some how -even though there's a nice slot beside the battery to slide it into and it fits there securely just a small piece like that can end up going missing very easily. Honestly only had the...

Very nice looking and stylish phone. The way the keyboard slides up and then tilts (like the name) is very cool. It has a stylus, which makes it easier to select things. Battery charges in a couple hours when plugged to the wall so was up and running...

A little heavier than I expected or am used to. I could not get sms text messages at first had to seek out some help to get the settings right and i found them here:

Follow up

It's Microsoft OS and there is no update for it. Now I am not surprise that some problem came up with no solution. I am just glad that the support company (PDAGiant) let me exchange to another phone (a Samsung Monte). I am happy with it.

I still think it's a good starter smartphone. It does everything

I had to return this and exchanged to another phone due to it's bad reception at my work (I think it's the software interference). This phone is more of PDA (/mini-computer) than a phone

I like this phone!

It's a bit difficult to lock the screen, but other than that I am very pleased with this phone. Like the previous reviewer said, the battery will not last long if you leave the wifi on. I get around this by only turning the wifi on when I feel like...

Nice screen, good keyboard, loud earpiece

Hard to lock screen

Nice starter Smartphone

Bought this to replace my broken Motorola V3. My first smartphone, so I am still playing with it. So far it works well for me except spotty wi-fi. I turn off the cell data signal (on pre-paid), so wifi is kind of important. Also cannot comment on data...

Well built. All belts and whistles included. Good reception (well, at least in my area)

Very weak Wi-fi. Windows Mobile 6.1 (need I say more?). A bit heavy. Really bad battery (If use wifi and play with programs constantly, it only last about 2-3 hours)
