HTC Touch Dual

The unlocked HTC Touch Dual pairs the company's TouchFLO shell with enough horsepower to run Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, but it's not particularly compelling otherwise.

Unlocked. 3G-capable. Good video playback performance. TouchFLO interface looks good and speeds up common tasks.

No Wi-Fi or GPS. Weak software bundle. Cumbersome Windows Mobile 6 interface lurks just underneath the TouchFLO surface.

HTC Touch Dual Smart Phone

The Touch Dual's slight changes make it a good--but pricey--BlackBerry Pearl competitor.

Improved touch interface ; Functional slide-out keypad

Keypad buttons hard to use for speed-texting ; Slightly smaller screen

We're still waiting for the final results from our PC World Test Center battery-life tests; we'll update this review as soon as we have the numbers. Since the previous version of the Touch worked on Sprint, a different network could result in different...

HTC Touch Dual Review

HTC Touch Dual clears the path for the WM6 Professional line of fashion smartphones. It is another way to say “slimmer-faster-newer.” The manufacturer should be given credit, not only for adding a slider, but for developing most elements of the...

HTC Touch Dual

What the Touch Dual lacks in hardware it makes up for with style. If the absence of Wi-Fi and GPS don't turn you away then the Touch Dual will serve as an excellent business assistant.

Slim, well-designed slider, HSDPA data speeds, Funky TouchFlo interface

No Wi-Fi or GPS, Interface can be laggy, Tiny stylus

HTC Touch Dual Review

Adama Brown brings us a review of the latest version of the HTC Touch Dual, a Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone which includes the 3G frequencies used in N. America.

Easier dialing ; Improved battery life

Laggy performance ; Text input not as good as a QWERTY keyboard ; Unremarkable feature set

The Touch Dual has pretty much the same styling that the older Touch models do, with one big exception. It has a split casing with slide mechanism, similar to the sliding keyboards found on many of HTC’s other units. Unlike those, though, the Dual...

HTC Touch Dual

I had mixed feelings after trying out the HTC Touch Dual phone several weeks ago. I am not very familiar stylus-navigated phones so it took more than the usual time to familiarize myself with this unit.

HTC Touch Dual for the US - Windows Mobile PDA Phone Reviews by Mobile Tech Review

Say hello to my little friend: the HTC Touch Dual North American version. It's small, it's soft-touch cuddly, yet it packs the power of Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro, 3G HSDPA for the US and a slide-out 20 key QWERTY keyboard that uses predictive text. At...

Fast, TouchFLO is smooth and responsive, good looking, soft-touch finish keeps the device safely in hand and doesn't require constant polishing (though the display might). Stable, very fast 3G HSDPA speeds on AT&T, strong reception, good voice quality...

No WiFi or GPS

and more. Yet I find myself gravitating to the Touch Dual thanks to it's comfortable and pocketable design, fast 3G, Windows Mobile power/tweak-ability and HTC's TouchFLO "classic" which speeds access to common tasks and adds an element of fun without...

HTC Touch Dual Review

By introducing the slider, HTC has been able to hide various Windows Mobile shortcut buttons, so the front of the casing only has Call and End buttons and a navigation key. This makes things look pretty sleek. One other thing to note about the general...
