Get the Honor. The young Honor brand of the Chinese manufacturer Huawei adds a new member, which offers a great price-to-performance ratio. A 5-inch HD display, quad-core SoC and dual-SIM functionality – all for 140 Euros (~$149).

The most convincing Moto G alternative to date

Superb screen for the price ; Better handling than the Moto G ; Great value

No 4G ; Performance issues only partly fixable ; Very dated software

In short: this is perhaps the best 5-inch screen you’ll find at £109, coming in slightly under the Moto G, which offers similar display quality.

5 inches of HD, quad-core Android phone for just £110

Good HD screen ; Surprisingly solid build ; Above average battery life ; Selfie-proof 5MP front camera

Uninspired design ; Average camera quality ; No 4G ; Underpowered processor

So cheap it seems unfair to knock it, this is a surprisingly good phone and you'd need to spend double to get anything significantly better.
