Kyocera DuraXE (AT&T)

The Kyocera DuraXE for AT&T is an ultra-rugged feature phone that runs Android, but you definitely won't confuse it for a smartphone.

4G LTE and dual-band Wi-Fi support. Good call quality, earpiece volume, and speaker volume. Rugged build. Long battery life.

No built-in app store. Noise cancellation could be better.

Multimedia and Conclusions The DuraXE supports just about any music, photo, and video file you can throw at it. With 4.7GB of storage available out of the box, you have some space to work with if you don't have a huge music collection, but you might...

Review: Kyocera DuraXE for AT&T

Kyocera's latest rugged clamshell for AT&T boasts LTE and mobile hotspot powers, in addition to its in-your-face attitude and truck-like build. This compact phone may include only the most elemental functions, but it has a few tricks up its sleeve....

The Kyocera DuraXE is an enigma. This rugged clamshell is a tough little beast, no question there. It covers all the survivability traits needed by today's outdoor workforce, including resistance to abuse and water damage. Kyocera did a great job...

Hard to use

Does not have a talk to text feature, can't see the print on web page because font is to small. Overall this phone is not user friendly

NOT THE EASIEST PHONE TO USE

The contact list is much harder to find and operate than the LG phone given to me by Alltel (now AT&T) I previously had. It was MUCH easier to operate. Also the calendar was much easier to enter events than this Kyocera DuraXE.

Beyond Useless

The Text Messaging system is beyond useless. No aspect of the Text Messaging system is intuitive for me. Everything is needlessly complicated.

Kyocera phone

I got this phone about a month ago and am so disappointed in it. I'm really mad and hate the phone. I wish now I would have gotten a cheap old LG they work better than this thing.
