LG Cosmos 2 ( Verizon Wireless)

Even though LG expanded its smartphone presence in the U.S. with phones like the LG Revolution and the T-Mobile G2X , the company still makes plenty of simple messaging phones for those who want something a little more basic. The LG Cosmos 2 is the...

The LG Cosmos is a compact messaging phone with a sharp display and roomy keyboard. You get slight improvements over the original, like a 3.5mm headset jack and a music player. Features include a 1.3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, Bing search, and a...

The LG Cosmos 2's social networking functions are simply text messaging shortcuts. Overall design and features aren't dramatically different from the predecessor. It does not have EV-DO.

As long as you don't have high expectations, the LG Cosmos 2 makes for a well-built entry-level messaging phone for the budget-conscious Verizon customer.

LG Cosmos 2 (Verizon Wireless)

The Cosmos 2 is a dual-band 1xRTT (850/1900 MHz) device with no 3G or Wi-Fi. That's fine, though; blazing Internet access isn't really this handset's mission. Calls sounded clear, crisp, and loud, in both directions, with no audible background hiss. A...

Great call quality. Roomy QWERTY keyboard. Solid feel. Good music player

No 3G. Weak camera. Middling reception

The LG Cosmos 2, like its predecessor, is a solid, affordable texting phone for Verizon subscribers.

LG Cosmos 2 Review

With so much attention given to smartphones by their manufacturers and wireless providers, you'd think those were the only devices available for purchase. Thankfully this is not the case, as there are still easy-to-use basic phones out there, and some...

Like its predecessor, the LG Cosmos 2 is a basic yet excellent text-messaging phone

It is still possible to find excellent messaging phones, and the LG Cosmos 2 is one of them. It makes PCMag.com's list of best phones on Verizon Wireless. Experts report that what it lacks in Internet capability and looks it more than makes up for in...

Roomy QWERTY keyboard, great call quality, decent music player, sharp screen

LG Cosmos 2 – A Compact Messaging Phone

LG might have expanded their presence in the Smartphone market in US, with their models like T-Mobile's G2X and LG Revolution, but the company still takes care of the customers looking for simple messaging handsets. The all new LG Cosmos 2 from LG is...

"Downgrade from the original"

I loved My LG cosmos 1. It sadly broke, and it's replacement broke, so I decided to "upgrade".

-Not nearly as prone to breaking.

- "Flat" keyboard.

"Nice phone"

It is already one month but still I confuse the use of "OK" button.

Looks good with key board.

You have to have a good memory.

"An OKAY phone."

Mine broke and I only had it for maybe two months. The pop up adds where annoying but I some how got rid of them I don't really remember how I did that. The bright screen is okay. I don't like that the buttons break so easily.

good batery, life BRIGHT screen, I love the music, and good keyboard.

Easily breakable, and you have to buy an sd card for music.I hate the pop up adds and the buttons on the side break quit really easily. Also no video messaging.

"this phone is TERRIBLE"

"I've had the unfortunate experience of owning two."

I used to own the bare basic phones only when I used to be with AT&T. I never had any problems with those phone so quickly like I've had with this cosmo 2. The poor design of sliding keyboard that broke within 5 months is what really, really...

My graphing calculator is faster than the software on this phone.

Poor design-sliding keyboard that will eventually break phone into 2 parts. Opens text mesgs w/o you opening them. Need a memry card to transfr photos from phone memry. Slow software w/ poor software layout-voice command is on CLR button.
