LG enV3

Cell phones always seem to come with inevitable compromises. There are sliders with both numeric dial pads and wide QWERTY keyboards that are excellent at messaging, but little else. There are cellphones with combined alphanumeric keypads that are...

Four-line QWERTY keyboard; speedy EV-DO WAP 2.0 Web browser; high-quality 3-megapixel photos and HVGA video; visual voicemail

No threaded messaging; limited access to apps via external screen; difficult to frame photos using external screen; poor photo-taking ergonomics

If you can make some ergonomic concessions then the enV3 is well-worth the $30 premium over the enV2...

LG EnV3 (maroon, Verizon Wireless)

The LG EnV2 was LG's first attempt at completely redesigning the look of the LG EnV. The previous Verizon LG messaging phones (the LG VX9800 and the LG EnV VX9900 respectively) were rather thick and chunky, while the EnV2 was slim, sleek, and much more...

The LG EnV3 has a slim and sleek appearance, with a spacious QWERTY keyboard, colorful dual displays, easy-to-use controls, plus it has updated features like a HTML Web browser and a 3.0-megapixel camera tricked out with special shot modes. Call...

The LG EnV3's number keypad is a little flat to the surface, and we would've preferred a faster way to enter URLs in the Web browser. Also, Visual Voice Mail and corporate e-mail support have monthly fees

The LG EnV3 has an impressive design and feature set that make it one of Verizon's top messaging phones.

LG EnV3 VX9200

As you'd expect, the enV3 makes texting a priority. With the flip open, you've got buttons to start a new text message or access your 10 favorite contacts—but notably not buttons to launch IM or e-mail, both of which Verizon phones are pretty weak...

Great price for the feature set. Excellent design. Good all-around performance

No 3.5mm headphone jack. Lackluster e-mail and IM programs

The LG enV3 gives you great bang for your buck with its strong phone performance, full keyboard, 3-megapixel camera, and threaded text messaging.

LG VX9200

I've been playing with a LG enV3 for Verizon Wireless for the past few days and here are some of my initial first impressions. At first glance, the LG enV3 is immediately more visually appealing than the LG enV2. Perhaps that's because of the layout of...

LG enV3 VX9200 Review

Verizon's enV series of phones by LG have been popular devices among texters for years, thanks to the internal QWERTY keyboard. When the enV2 VX9100 came out a year ago, it was noticeably smaller than its predecessors, but lacked any amount of style....

A Double Feature: LG enV3 and enV Touch

No doubt you've seen the plethora of commercials released by Verizon for their two newest phones. They tout an app store, a touch screen, and blah blah blah.

A very good all-around messaging phone for Verizon

LG's enV gets another refresh

Excellent build quality and design, comfortable keyboard, camera has flash, vibrant LCD screens

Poor web browser, non-standard headphone jack, mediocre camera

Review: Review of the LG VX9200 enV3 for Verizon

The third in LG's enV series for Verizon Wireless, the new VX9200 enV3 packs in more megapixels and functionality than ever. Ricky gives it the full hands-on treatment in this review, and likes what he finds.
