LG Extravert (Verizon) review

Despite its name, the LG Extravert won't be the life of a party. As a feature phone, of course, it won't impress anyone who has the latest smartphone complete with all the bells and whistles. However, if you belong to a crowd that has an affinity for...

The LG Extravert has a comfortable keyboard, Android-like customization options for the homescreen, and quirky extras like a graphing and eco-calculator.

The Extravert’s unresponsive screen is irritating, its smooth backing makes it difficult to grip, and there’s no designated call button.

Aside from a few design flaws and a poor touchscreen, the LG Extravert is a solid feature phone that can execute basic tasks reliably and has good call quality.

"HORRIBLE"

This is by far the worst phone I have ever used. DO NOT BUY IT!!!!! After 4 weeks it has totally died. You cannot read the screen if there is any light at all. It makes calls randomly while in your pocket and slides out of your pocket very easily....

Calls&texts, better than nothing... but still not a good phone at all... save yourself the trouble and don't buy it.

I got this phone almost 2 years ago after accidentally breaking my previous phone (Samsung Intensity II). It was a bit of a step up from it. I liked that it had a touch screen (though it's pressure sensitive, not "touch" like an iPhone) and could...

Can record video (unlike my previous phone), has widgets, notepad, battery life

Keyboard, camera, touchscreen, text message viewing

"I'm happy after 3 weeks. Lot to learn in my own time."

I researched this phone & similar for 5 months. Glad I decided on this one. I also converted from a Verizon contract after 4 years to the $50 unlimited for talk & text. Email, web, FB & YouTube are just extras for me. I stayed with Vzw for the coverage...

Upgraded from a Razor flip phone (4 years & happy) with a 450 min plan & NO Data. This phone is great for learning to text. My touchscreen (calibrated) works great as does the keyboard. Yes, I must have my glasses on. Voice command works fine.

Nothing so far, still learning. Did get a rubberized case to avoid the "very slippery" issue.

"Great Feature Phone"

I would totally recommend this phone, as it does not need a data plan, which can be very costly. Also, if one chooses, you can access the internet though Verizon Opera Mini, as well as social networking sites and Youtube. It is also capable of storing...

The slide-out QWERTY keyboard is a great addition for your texter in the family. Its surface does not scratch easily. A better aspect, in my opinion, is the USB charger cable included, making it posible for charging with a computer.

The touch screen is fairly resistive, and also attracts fingerprints easily. It has a very low-quality camera (Only 2 MP).
