LG Extravert ( Verizon Wireless)

Despite its name, the LG Extravert won't be the life of a party. As a feature phone, of course, it won't impress anyone who has the latest smartphone complete with all the bells and whistles. However, if you belong to a crowd that has an affinity for...

The LG Extravert has a comfortable keyboard, Android-like customization options for the homescreen, and quirky extras like a graphing and eco-calculator.

The Extravert’s unresponsive screen is irritating, its smooth backing makes it difficult to grip, and there’s no designated call button.

Aside from a few design flaws and a poor touchscreen, the LG Extravert is a solid feature phone that can execute basic tasks reliably and has good call quality.

LG Extravert (Verizon Wireless)

Slightly smaller than the Cosmos Touch, the Extravert measures 4.1 by 2.1 by 0.6 inches (HWD) and weighs 4.3 ounces. The 2.8-inch touch screen is on the small side, but features acceptable 400-by-240-pixel resolution. The phone slides open to reveal a...

"I'm happy after 3 weeks. Lot to learn in my own time."

I researched this phone & similar for 5 months. Glad I decided on this one. I also converted from a Verizon contract after 4 years to the $50 unlimited for talk & text. Email, web, FB & YouTube are just extras for me. I stayed with Vzw for...

Upgraded from a Razor flip phone (4 years & happy) with a 450 min plan & NO Data. This phone is great for learning to text. My touchscreen (calibrated) works great as does the keyboard. Yes, I must have my glasses on. Voice command works fine.

Nothing so far, still learning. Did get a rubberized case to avoid the "very slippery" issue.

"Keeps you organized! Great old-fashioned/modern blend."

Pros (Continued):

*Voice Command actually does things

*No convenient "To-Do List" like there was on my previous LG Cosmos

"Great Feature Phone"

I would totally recommend this phone, as it does not need a data plan, which can be very costly. Also, if one chooses, you can access the internet though Verizon Opera Mini, as well as social networking sites and Youtube. It is also capable of storing...

The slide-out QWERTY keyboard is a great addition for your texter in the family. Its surface does not scratch easily. A better aspect, in my opinion, is the USB charger cable included, making it posible for charging with a computer.

The touch screen is fairly resistive, and also attracts fingerprints easily. It has a very low-quality camera (Only 2 MP).

"Its a phone?"

The touch screen? the price was why i bought it though.

The camera absolutely sucks its 2012 lets get some better resolution? and maybe be able to send them at a size that other people can actually see? That would probably be nice wouldn't it?

This is a very good phone. I got mine on November 13th and it still works good. I calibrate my touch screen everyday like recommended and it has never gave me problems. The keyboard once I got used to it was good but LG should have made it bigger. The...

"A downgrade from almost any phone out there."

I would not recommend this phone to anyone, even my children. The reception is so bad that in many cases I'm missing phone calls and texts while trying to coordinate activities.

Great price

Bad recepetion, small keyboard, can't text while talking, low quality camera and terrible touch screen

"Great basic phone for the price"

I had no problems with the phone's touch screen, but I did calibrate it before use. I also did not have a problem with the Micro SD card, I was able to connect to my computer and move my photos to the proper folder (you will want to get the proper...

The LG Extravert has a comfortable keyboard, even for my big fingers. It has Android-like customization options for the home screen, such as tip calculator, basic and graphing calculator, basic browser. Most important, call quality is excellent!

The LG Extravert has a very smooth back which makes it slippery. Camera is sub par (that's why I own a Nikon Camera).
