Verizon LG Intuition Review

Known as the LG Intuition in the USA, this smartphone has been introduced by LG as the LG Optimus Vu at Mobile World Congress. We had published a hands-on in early 2012. The goal for this device is to address [...]

The Verizon LG Intuition, also known as the LG Optimus Vu, is ironically a counter-intuitive phone. Many people don’t “get” the 4:3 screen choice at first. However, those who can go past the initial impression will love the huge screen, and the amazing...

More Info LG Optimus Vu review LG Intuition officially announced Intuition by LG hands-on It's not uncommon for US carriers to take an international smartphone under their wings, make a few adjustments to hardware and firmware, stamp their fat logos in...

Solid build, elegant aesthetics ; Performs well on a year-old processor

Awkward to hold ; Lackluster HD video capture ; Horrendous battery life ; Included pen low on functionality

The Intuition is a mediocre phone with last year's specs, and only a select few buyers will even feel comfortable holding it.

LG Intuition (Verizon Wireless) review: LG Intuition (Verizon Wireless)

Verizon's LG Intuition has 4G LTE, NFC capabilities, and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

The Intuition may be unwieldy for some, its screen's 4:3 aspect ratio is unusual, and it can't store its stylus internally.

The LG Intuition from Verizon is a reasonably priced, Android 4.0 'phablet,' but its specs can't compete with Samsung's Galaxy Note family.

LG Intuition (Verizon Wireless)

LG's latest smartphone, the Intuition ($199.99 direct) is a behemoth. It's not for everyone—and that's by design. Verizon's first phablet-sized phone, the Intuition goes up against the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note II. It's great for reading, Web...

Bright, expansive display. Surprisingly lightweight given its size

Often feels sluggish. Not a great phone for voice calls. Non-standard screen resolution. Subpar 1080p video recording. Lacks a slot to store the bundled stylus

The massive LG Intuition phablet offers a sprawling 5-inch screen for browsing, reading, and taking notes, but it's not a great smartphone.

LG Intuition review

When Samsung released the Galaxy Note, it was met with some skepticism. Do people want a huge phone with a huge screen that barely fits in your pocket, people wondered? Turns out they do, and the Note has sold gangbusters since it was introduced. It's...

Big screen is great for typing ; Fast performance

Enormous ; Design is impossibly clunky ; 4:3 display doesn't show apps properly

LG Intuition Review

Korean based manufacturer LG wants to get into the exclusive club as well, and with that, they've brought to market the LG Intuition for Verizon Wireless – also known abroad as the LG Optimus Vu. Sure, it boasts the “Rubberdium” stylus for the...

Display is great for web browsing ; Fast overall performance ; It stands out for being so large

No slot for the Rubberdium stylus ; Not practical for watching videos ; Poor battery life ; Shoots terrible photos and videos

Well, after checking out the LG Intuition extensively from head-to-toe, our gut instinct is nudging to move on ahead – from this one, that is. Sure, its massive size is sure to amaze some random strangers as you whip it out from your pockets, but...

LG Intuition 4G LTE Smartphone review

What do you get when you take a smartphone and a tablet and put them in a dark room with some Barry White music on the stereo? A bouncing baby Phablet, that's what. Phablet's are becoming pretty popular lately. Just look at the oversized smartphones...

5 inch display ; NFC stickers for easy settings changes ; Screen capture button

Large for a phone ; Stylus doesn't do anything special ; Battery isn't user accessible ; No microSD card slot

I will be blunt and say that I would not buy the LG Intuition for myself. There are some things I like about it such as the screen capture button, USB cover, rubber back, NFC, and large display. But the form factor isn’t for me. It isn’t pocket...

Verizon LG Intuition Review

Those folks at LG and Verizon have teamed up to release their own phablet onto the market, even if it's a little late to the party. Known as the LG Optimus Vu, the new Verizon Intuition by LG with 4G LTE is available now and we're taking a look. With...

To wrap things up we’ll have to end with the fact that while this device is decent — it certainly isn’t for everyone. The lack of newer hardware, no micro-SD slot, and an odd shape make it a turn off for many. For those that loved the Galaxy Note but...

"The Phablet is very kingly I love it.....!!!"

The phablet is phabolous and i recommend it to those who want a better device that does everything then get this one it is great. a little big and the battery life is moderate i suggest keeping it on the charger during heavy use. other than that...

its big i have big hands so it works out and its very fast on the download. It has quite a bit of functions (I say learn as you go)they are easy to get used to. The Phone has a lot of space and has a stylus for better precision.

The battery life is moderate i guess its to be expected since it does a lot of different tasks. For some people it might be big and for others just right but the width of the phone is stressful on the hand for prolonged conversations.
