LG KS360 review: Of teens and twitters

LG KS360 is a mid-ranger that will easily catch your eye with bold colors and quirky controls. LG have managed to create a handset that's cunningly full of character, though it's kinda hard to think of it in the hands of...

Tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support ; Large 2.4" TFT display of QVGA resolution ; Full slide-out QWERTY keyboard with screen rotation ; Touchscreen dialing ; 2 megapixel camera ; Stereo Bluetooth ; FM radio ; microSD memory card slot (up to 4GB) ; Threaded...

No UMTS support ; No camera autofocus ; Poor video recording resolution (fit for MMS only) ; Awkward file manager - no user-created folders ; Uncomfortable phonebook (takes two clicks to get to the contacts list) ; No smart dialing ; The FM radio lacks...

This midrange phone isn't exactly hard to keep your cool about and the flashy paintjobs don't help much either. But we were pleasantly surprised by the ergonomics and performance of the KS360. So while we gear up to put the LG KS360 through its paces,...

LG KS360 Review

LG KS360 was launched with a specific target in mind, namely youngsters that use their device mainly for texting. Boasting a full QWERTY keyboard and a partial touch display, LG KS360 looks like a toy, which was probably intended by the Korean...

The highlights of the device are definitely the QWERTY keyboard, the low price, as well as the microSD slot card and the touch screen dialing function. The ergonomic built of the gadget is also worth mentioning together with some of the basic...

I think the main drawbacks of the device are the low-end camera and the awkward file manager. Also, the autonomy of the battery could have been better. The integrated browser and the small screen are some of the disappointments of the slider as well....

LG KS360

LG makes some of the most practical, feature-specific phones in the market. We saw that with the LG KU250 and the LG KP500 targeting a single specific feature at an affordable price. The LG KS360 is an attempt to take full qwerty messaging to the masses.

Review: LG KS360 QWERTY phone review

The LG KS360 is a GSM/EDGE QWERTY messaging phone that looks very much like the LG Rumor that Sprint sells in the USA. Russell takes this handset for the Euro market out for a spin in this review.

LG KS360 Mobile Phone

LG is really trying to capture the youth mid-range market by launching affordable handsets with trendy features that include semi touchscreens, total touchscreens and media capabilities galore. They've even managed to squeeze a QWERTY keypad into a...

Camera With simple and very basic settings that include White Balance, Multi-shot, a few color settings and Exposure Compensation the KS360's 2 megapixel camera, except for the bad placement of the shutter release, is very easy to use.

Proprietary headphone/charging jack, lack of 3G connectivity

Targeted at teenagers, the KS360 is a commendable effort, but its lack of 3G connectivity is a black mark considering its features list. The QWERTY keyboard is excellent for SMS use, though, and the price is definitely appealing.

LG KS360 review

REVIEW: A budget phone for the social networking age

Slide-out Qwerty keyboard ; Messaging-centric design ; Touchscreen dialling ; Good-sized 2.4-inch display ; Great camera ; Good quality music player ; MicroSD card expansion ; Fast access social networking options ; Solid design and build

Keyboard can be fiddly to use ; Keys could be better marked ; Touchscreen limited to dialling only ; Average quality 2-megapixel camera ; No 3G connectivity ; Low spec browser ; Basic music player user interface ; No 3.5mm headphone socket

Budget mobile with slide-out Qwerty keyboard and touchscreen dialling may appeal to heavy-duty messagers, but it lacks punch in other feature areas
