LG L90 Dual review: Could shake up mid-range segment with its solid feature set

LG hasn't exactly been ‘Mr Popular' in the mainstream smartphone segment. While some of their recent budget offerings might have sold well, they didn't really have anything that was memorable. The L90 however packs in enough substance to jump out of...

Leaving the MRP aside, the LG L90 Dual can be bought online and in most retail stores for as low as Rs 16,500. Its closest competition here is the Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo, although calling it competition would be a bit of a stretch. As it so happens,...

Review LG L90 Smartphone

"Design-Smartphone" – that's what the South Korean manufacturer LG calls it. But the question is why, since the smartphone looks like any other smartphone at first. The rival Moto G is also powered by the Snapdragon 400 and has a 4.7-inch screen. So...

Multimedia performance, Battery runtime, Expandable storage, Battery can be replaced, Drawbacks of the rivals, for instance non-removable batteries or small storage, are no problem for the LG L90

Low display resolution (WVGA), No brightness sensor, Viewing angle stability, The WVGA resolution would have earned an upgrade, even the 75 Euros less expensive Moto G already features the HD resolution

LG L90

For prepaid carrier T-Mobile, reliable midrange devices that are under $300 are few and far between. Some devices are inexpensive, but don't offer a smooth and consistent user experience. Other higher-tiered handsets, however, cost around $500 or more,...

T-Mobile's competitively priced LG Optimus L90 features a sizable battery, reliable call quality, and a protective "self-healing" coating.

The handset lacks LTE and its camera takes mediocre photos indoors. There were also some hiccups with Wi-Fi calling.

Though it doesn't have LTE and takes unimpressive photos, the LG Optimus L90 remains a worthy midrange contender that you should look at if you're on a budget.

"Haven't had much luck with this phone :/"

My husband and I took advantage of t-mobiles' sale, for the Nokia Lumia 635 (LTE) & the Lg L90 (4G). The phones were on sale for $100, and we signed up with t-mobiles' no contract plan. We both went with the Nokia Lumia and have had amazing service (no...

"Might be good, but not the best."

I'm sure it's a decent phone but the review below me said "It's the best low end smartphone on the market in my opinion and you won't be able to find a phone as good as this for 100 dollars. It's just impossible". The Moto G can be had for less than...

"LG hit the nail on the head with this phone"

My g2's screen cracked so I decided to buy a refurb note 2. The note 2 was good, but it's so big that it's hard for me to type on it when the phone is horizontal and it was uncomfortable in my pocket. One day I decided to the T-Mobile store without the...
