LG Lucid (Verizon Wireless) review

It's quite possible that the LG Lucid slipped under your radar.

The LG Lucid has a slick design, swift data speeds, and a zippy processor. Its camera's photo and video recording quality is also impressive.

The Lucid comes equipped with way too much bloatware, and its speaker is subpar. Also, considering its release date, we're disappointed that it doesn't run on Ice Cream Sandwich.

Though it's stuck on Gingerbread, the Lucid's great camera, snappy performance, and cheap price tag make it a solid choice for a budget 4G Android phone.

LG Lucid (Verizon Wireless)

The LG Lucid for Verizon Wireless is a powerful Android smartphone at an unusually low up-front price.

Affordable. Dual-core processor. Supports 4G LTE data speeds. Bright screen. 1080p video recording.

Mediocre reception. Runs older Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS.

Multimedia, Camera, and Conclusions There's 4GB of free internal storage for media, plus 1.34GB of free system memory for installing apps. There's also a microSD card slot underneath the battery cover; my 32GB SanDisk card worked fine. Music tracks...

LG Lucid Review

Just a little bit over a couple of months ago, LG finally matched its competitors over on Verizon's lineup by bringing to market the Spectrum – a device that brought some exciting features at $200 on-contract. For those on a tight budget and prefer...

Affordable price ; Attractive design ; Still a high-spec’d smartphone

Lots of artifacting with its 1080p videos ; Poor calling quality

A year ago, owning a Verizon 4G LTE smartphone meant having to fork over a load of moolah, such as the case with devices like the Samsung Droid Charge and LG Revolution when they were initially launched. Over time, as we’ve seen mostly in the last few...

LG Lucid Written Review by Sydney

The saying goes that there's strength in numbers and Android certainly has that on its side. The variety of Android phones on the market is a huge bonus for consumers because it makes it easy to get a phone that matches what you want, whether it's a...

4G LTE; smooth processor performance; good-looking hardware (though kind of on the chunky side); decent camera; excellent price

Mediocre display; small battery; LG's UI might be too cartoonish for some people

For $80 on contract, the LG Lucid packs a powerful punch. You get a dual-core processor for smooth performance, 4G LTE data, and good-looking hardware. There are some obvious areas where LG has cut corners to keep the price down. For example, the...

LG Lucid Review - Verizon Wireless

The LG Lucid on Verizon Wireless is an affordable 4G LTE Android smartphone with the first time smartphone owner in mind.

The LG Lucid is a well-built 4G LTE smartphone that delivers a user-friendly experience. This phone is not aimed at geeks, but it doesn’t skimp on performance like many budget smartphones.

Review: LG Lucid for Verizon Wireless

The LG Lucid offers a 4-inch screen and 4G in a compact body. This little phone may be small in stature and a bit short on looks, but it's big on features and even bigger on functionality. Read Phone Scoop's review to get the real skinny.

Overall, the LG Lucid is a fine little phone. It scores well on most features. Though I think it's a bit plain in the fashion department, the hardware works well and offers a balance of features and transportability. It's a good voice phone, has...

LG Lucid Review

With new devices rolling out on what feels like a daily basis, making the decision of which device is worthy of signing the next two years away with can be a daunting task. While the push is towards...

While packing nearly every spec you could wish for in a high end device, the Lucid is currently sitting with a price tag of only $79 (after a $50) rebate, and this is about 1/3 the cost of most other high end devices. The Lucid is definitely worthy of...

Terrible sound call quality!

This LG Lucid phone has the WORST sound quality of ANY phone I have ever used! It's unbelievable that with the current state of technology LG can't make a phone with even acceptable sound quality! We bought the Lucid phone at Walmart for $1.97 (with...

Super low price (but unfortunately you get what you pay for with the LG Lucid) Big screen

Terrible tinny sound call quality! Touch screen too often gets it wrong. Extremely poor battery life. There are more Cons, but no use in beating a dead horse.
