LG Optimus F3 (MetroPCS)

The LG Optimus F3 delivers LTE speeds and a decent display for $149. Unfortunately, installing large apps is almost impossible on this Android smartphone thanks to its tiny internal storage.

Amazing battery life. Inexpensive for an LTE phone.

Mediocre camera. Poor call quality. Unable to install larger apps.

Conclusions With LTE, the Optimus F3 is already a step ahead of other low-cost competitors, but it's too far behind on some very important factors. The $129 Huawei Vitria is a cheaper device with LTE, but it has a shorter battery life and more bulk....

LG Optimus F3 (T-Mobile)

A good deal if you don't mind a little interface tweaking, the LG Optimus F3 is a budget-minded workhorse smartphone.

Inexpensive. Strong battery life in a compact device.

Gimmicky UI looks especially cluttered on a screen this small.

Conclusions For all its limits, the F3 still represents a good value. If you compare this to other, pricier Android phones, the F3 looks weak—but it's a quality deal compared to hobbled, non-smartphones in T-Mobile's lineup like the Gravity Q that...

LG Optimus F3 review

As someone who's getting more baffled by the ever-expanding screen sizes of smartphones, for me it's nice to see a relatively compact Android device, like the LG Optimus F3, coming out of the pipeline from time to time.

The LG Optimus F3 is inexensive with or without a carrier contract, has long-lasting battery life, and comes with Google’s TalkBack feature for the visually impaired.

The Optimus F3 showed inconsistent 4G data performance and call quality was mediocre.

If you’re looking for a compact Android handset, the LG Optimus F3 will satisfy prepaid customers. As an on-contract phone, however, look to other free smartphones that are better.

LG Optimus F3 (Sprint)

The LG Optimus F3 really goes the distance, with terrific battery life for an affordable Android phone.

Amazing battery life. Solid build quality. Cool multitasking. Good value for money.

Camera isn't great. Limited built-in memory. Bluetooth voice dialing needs help.

Conclusions If you're worried about running out of juice, this is the phone for you. Sprint has a number of decent midrange Android phones, including the rugged Kyocera Torque and the much more generic Sprint Force. They all benchmark a bit faster than...

LG Optimus F3 Review

LG is never one to shy away from gaining traction in the entry-level segment of the market, seeing that it's still highly regarded as the bread and butter of a company's growth opportunity. Likely one to attract people to its $29.99 on-contract cost,...

Employs some of the new LG Optimus UI enhancements ; Lots of connectivity features for a budget phone

Cheap feel & construction ; Shoots noisy photos & video ; Low quality display

Indeed, there’s just so much where an entry-level smartphone can go – especially when last year’s mid-rangers tend to occupy the same space nowadays. Looking at the $29.99 on-contract price point of the LG Optimus F3, it might not scare the pants off...

Review: LG Optimus F3 for Sprint

The LG Optimus F3 is a low-cost Android smartphone for Sprint. It may not include all the bells and whistles, but it still impresses with solid performance. Read Phone Scoop's full report.

LG Optimus F3 packs Jelly Bean and 4G LTE in a 4-inch handset

Modestly sized with a 4-inch screen, the Optimus F3 from Sprint is equipped with a 5-megapixel camera, Android Jelly Bean, and a dual-core processor.

The ; is inexensive with or without a carrier contract, has long-lasting battery life, and comes with Google’s TalkBack feature for the visually impaired.

The Optimus F3 showed inconsistent 4G data performance and call quality was mediocre.

LG Optimus F3 is Boost Mobile's cheapest yet

The prepaid carrier starts selling its most affordable LTE-ready smartphone to date.
