LG Optimus F6 (MetroPCS)

The LG Optimus F6 is a well-connected Android smartphone with LTE, NFC, and a decent display. But its limited internal storage, older OS, and poor camera make it less appealing than it looks.

4G LTE support. Dual-band Wi-Fi and NFC. Excellent battery life

Pricey compared with the competition. Poor camera. Below-average call quality. Not enough storage for large apps. Excessive bloatware

The LG Optimus F6 ($199 list) is a midrange Web and Internet Android smartphone, with speedy 4G LTE data and all the usual Google apps. But at this price point with no contract, there are often trade-offs, and in this case you'll have to do without a...

LG Optimus F6 (T-Mobile)

The LG Optimus F6 is a value-priced Android smartphone that cuts corners on storage and camera capabilities to hit its price mark. Better T-Mobile values can be found.

Inexpensive given its feature set. Excellent battery life

Poor camera. Extremely limited internal storage. Cluttered interface

LG's Optimus F6 ($49.99 up front and $10/month for 24 months or $289.99) has some of the looks of a higher-end phone—the disco-ball reflective pattern on the back evokes LG's Nexus 4, and the brushed-metal highlights on the side are a classy touch. But...

LG Optimus F6

The LG Optimus F6 may not be a powerhouse of a device compared with some other top-tier handsets, but it's still a reliable phone that will satisfy users looking for a simple device on a budget.

The LG Optimus F6 has clear call quality, a decent 5-megapixel shooter, and a bright, responsive screen.

4G LTE data speeds were erratic at times on T-Mobile, and because the handset's equipped with Android 4.1.2, it runs a slightly dated OS.

Competitively priced and stocked with respectable hardware specs, the LG Optimus F6 is a worthy buy for prepaid customers who are big on value.

LG Optimus F6

The lightweight LG Optimus F6 is a dependable budget smartphone with a big screen and handy apps.

Large and bright screen; Affordable; Lightweight and comfortable design; Useful LG exclusive features

Display not HD; Inconsistent 4G LTE performance; No included stylus for pen features

The LG Optimus F6 is an affordable Android phone with a fairly large screen and good features and performance for the price. T-Mobile users can also nab the waterproof Xperia Z for $19 or the Lumia 925 for $29, for a sharper display, but both phones...

LG Optimus F6 Review

The Optimus F6 falls squarely in the middle of the high end G2 and entry level Optimus F3. Features include a 4.5” IPS display, LTE support and a dual-core Snapdragon processor, but can they outweigh the compromises made to keep the device affordable?...

Exceptional call quality ; Good fit and finish

Camera performance is underwhelming ; Software can be cluttered at times, and eats much of the phone’s small internal memory

As you would expect LG has made some compromises to keep the Optimus F6 affordable, but for a mid-range device they have put together an overall nice package. The device is well-built, has a good display for its class and incorporates many of the...

"Avoid. Cruel amount of internal storage available."

Ran out of space after 30 days even with moving apps and photos and docs to the SD card. Started to disable and remove as many junk apps as possible and canceled auto updates to core apps. No more room to update apps. I just have to remove the app that...

Fast - Nice bright display - Good phone quality

1.2 GB of memory. Non-removable apps and bloatware hogs internal memory space.

"DO NOT BUY! Won't use Ext SD card, runs out of memory."

I've owned and used many

It turns on and off.

DO NOT BUY this piece of junk. Phone will not use external SD card, runs out of memory "in sufficient storage", returned the phone 3 times on 4th LG F6, and that mobile carrier that starts with a T- won't exchange for a different model due to policy.

"Great Phone"

If you want a quality phone without breaking the bank this is it.

"Not Good! Battery never fully chages"

never had an LG device before and will stay away from them in the future.

cant tell you as the battery never gets to a 100% charge.

Brought home and immediately placed onto the charger, as the tmoble rep suggested, 18 hours later battery still not at 100%. Off to tmoble store to return this hunk of junk. Cant wait for that aggravation. Just avoid this phone.

"Best mid-tier phone on the market"

Great phone overall. I have no real complaints about it. Sure, it's not a top-tier flagship type phone but I doubt that's what it was trying to be. This is also for the MetroPCS version of the phone, which is pretty much identical in every way.

Only 1.2 GB of onboard storage
