Review LG E460 Optimus L5 II Smartphone

The mainstream "L". LG not only delivers high-end smartphones like the LG Optimus G or the Google nexus 4, the Korean company also produces smartphones for the medium price range. We have a closer look at the new 4-inch mainstream device, the Optimus...

Bright display with good viewing angle stability, Decent gaming performance, Good voice quality, NFC and HSUPA, Very light, Sturdy case, The bright display with an excellent viewing angle stability

Weak contrast and black value, Camera performance, Weak processor, Limited memory, Limited storage, Quite boring design, A real highlight to differ from the competition

LG Optimus L5 II Review

The LG Optimus L5 II is among the phones you'll run into if you're looking for an Android device that doesn't cost much. Its biggest asset is that it has a pretty IPS-LCD screen, but other than that, its just your typical entry-level smartphone....

Good display ; Adequate performance

No front-facing camera ; Mediocre main camera

There was a time when cheap smartphones were slow and clunky, which made them frustrating to use, but it looks like things are now changing for the better. Of course, the LG Optimus L5 II is far from a benchmark record holder, but it offers performance...

LG Optimus L5 II Hands-On [video]

The LG Optimus L5 II is a mid-range-y affordable smartphone meant to be a sequel to last year’s LG Optimus L5. The LG Optimus L5...

LG Optimus L5 2 review

Is the awkward second album better than before?

Handy Quick Key ; MicroSD support ; Good battery life ; Intuitive UI

No auto brightness ; Laggy processor ; No front camera ; Poor internal storage

It seems a long time ago that LG was helping dominate the mobile market, with phone offerings such as the LG Chocolate. In reality, 7 years is more than a long time in tech, with LG's more recent mobile offerings often failing to hit the same mark they...

LG Optimus L5 II E610

A 4-inch Android smartphone that won't break the bank

Small, petite design ; Camera shutter can be voice activated ; Good battery life

Can feel a little sluggish at times ; No automatic brightness sensor for the screen

All in all, it's a vey high quality display for a mobile in this price bracket. However, one problem is that the phone doesn't have an automatic brightness sensor, so you have to manually adjust the screen brightness using a slider in the notification...

LG Optimus L5 2 and Optimus L3 2 hands-on review

LG has announced a raft of new smartphones at MWC this year and the first to hit the UK will be the Optimus L5 2 and Optimus L3 2. Read our LG Optimus L5 2 and Optimus L3 2 hands-on review.

We're pleased with LG's Optimus L5 2 and L3 2 after a first look. After last year's disappointment, these could be realistically good smartphones for those on a budget. Look out for our full reviews and verdicts.

LG Optimus L5 II

This budget smartphone doesn't challenge the best phones around but solid all-round performance make it an affordable alternative

Budget price ; Clean and neutral colour palette for video ; Decent sound quality ; Some nice features ; Expandable storage

Black levels lack depth and subtlety ; Music could have more detail ; Cheap-feeling plastic build and finish

And that’s what it comes down to. The budget price means it’s not a premium handset that’ll challenge the Apple, HTC, Samsung or Sony flagship smartphones.

Following the successes of last year's L-Series handsets and in particular the Optimus L5, the LG Optimus L5 2 is now here to inject new life into the line, one year on.This new Android mid-ranger offers…

Good screen ; Decent battery life ; Handy hardware QuickButton

Cheap, plastic build ; Weak camera ; Underpowered, overpriced

LG Optimus L5 II

The LG Optimus L5 II is a remarkably compact and lightweight smartphone. It has a 4in, 480 x 800-resolution screen, measures a mere 9.7mm at its thickest point, and at 103g you'll barely notice it in your pocket.

A likeable Android skin and a lightweight, compact body can't make up for dreadful performance
