LG Rumor Reflex (Boost Mobile)

The LG Rumor Reflex is a good choice for texting on Boost, but is only average otherwise.

Comfortable, roomy keyboard. Responsive touch screen. Eco-friendly design and packaging. Very affordable plan pricing.

Poor viewing angles. Lackluster camera. Limited video support. Drab user interface.

Pricing and Conclusions Better still, unlimited talk and text plans cost just $45 per month on Boost, and you don't even need to sign a contract. Better yet, for every six months you pay your bill on time, your monthly fee reduces by $5, until you...

LG Rumor Reflex (Sprint)

The LG Rumor Reflex is a good choice for texters on Sprint, but offers little for anyone else.

Comfortable, roomy keyboard. Responsive touch screen. Eco-friendly design and packaging.

Drab user interface. Poor viewing angles. Lackluster camera. Limited video support.

Apps, Multimedia, and Conclusions Although it can be customized, the Reflex's interface is drab and cold. Home screen options are presented in a text-based list running down a flat, gray background; it feels more like a menu than a home screen. And...

LG Rumor Reflex (Sprint) review

Psst...have you heard the news? The LG Rumor is back, and this time it's called the Rumor Reflex. With a slightly bumped up camera, sleeker design, new touch screen, and a more expansive keyboard, the Reflex is a welcomed face-lift. Although it doesn't...

The LG Rumor Reflex has good call quality, a responsive touch screen, a slide-out keyboard for swift texting, and a user-friendly interface.

The Rumor Reflex's speaker quality is poor, the data connection was slow, and the camera interface is also poorly designed.

As a feature phone, the Rumor Reflex can do the basics well and its QWERTY keyboard and touch-screen display make it easy to use.

"It's a phone I guess."

Find something better but what would that be? The manufacturers don't want to make the phone we want. ie easy to use, simple, reliable. They can't make any money then.

It's a phone

Keyboard. Doesn't register every letter you press. It takes 4 buttons or taps of the screen to get to messages. My last phone was 1 button.

"Worst LG phone in SPRINT's lineup."

DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!!! If you need a feature phone, find something else.

QWERTY keyboard.

See SPRINT's Community Forum for LG. The Reflex subspace is getting the most action and nearly 100% negative. Problems abound.

Great phone with a single terrible flaw

Overall this is a really good phone but the lack of email access is unacceptable, even for a cheap phone. The companies billing plan is supposed to cover everything but they want to charge me extra just to have a feature that my phone used to have. In...

Durable and Reliable Decent camera for a feature phone Sensitive and responsive touchscreen Loud ringer, decent call clarity Supports external storage and uses the same common video format used by the PSP.

I only use this phone for talking, texting, taking pictures, and email. Unfortunately the email client ceased working after a few months. I was provided a link to update the client but the phone was unable to open the link.

"Coolest 'basic' phone I've had to date."

My old LG Remarq lasted me two solid years and was on its last leg when I got this phone. Its very fast, similar interface and very responsive touchscreen. As I am 21 now this phone looks a lot more grown up and less like a teenagers and the design is...

Fun, easy navigation. Touchscreen plus full QWERTY keyboard. Lovely texting interface. Good camera. Missed alerts show up on the display in bubbles. Solid battery life for a touchscreen phone.

Keys are stiff on the keyboard. Not a lot of customization options. Email button is just under messages button and is not removable.

"Great basic phone"

I am really enjoying this phone. Unlike the CNET review, I find the QWERTY keyboard very easy to use despite the size. The touchscreen on the other hand can be difficult to hit the very small areas in order to navigate menus, etc. My small-ish 10 yr...

Slide out QWERTY keyboard, colorful display, easy navigation

No easy access to call history, touchscreen menus sometimes too small to hit accurately

"Goodbye Rumor Touch, hello Rumor Reflex"

I went from the LG Rumor Touch to the Rumor Reflex. I definitely dig the increased performance of the hardware. The touchscreen is slightly improved. The 1st battery w/ the phone would die after 1 day of charging. Got a replacement battery and now it...

Faster core processor than Rumor Touch

Short battery life
