LG Rumor Touch (Virgin Mobile) review: LG Rumor Touch (Virgin Mobile)

LG Rumor Touch (Virgin Mobile)

The LG Rumor Touch has a very text-messaging-friendly interface. Its slider QWERTY keyboard is easy to use, and we like that it has a 3.5mm headset jack for music, e-mail, social networking support, and great call quality.

The LG Rumor Touch's photo quality is average, and the touch screen isn't quite as responsive as we would like.

The LG Rumor Touch is a touch-screen phone for Virgin Mobile that is geared especially for messaging fans.

LG Rumor Touch (Sprint)

LG finally gets the formula right with the Rumor Touch, a stellar messaging phone with a 3-inch touch screen and a five-row, slide-out QWERTY keyboard.

Well-designed touch UI. Roomy, five-row QWERTY keyboard. Good voice quality. E-mail and social networking built in.

Subpar Web browser. No instant messaging client.

Multimedia, Camera, and Conclusions The Rumor Touch is a solid music phone. The side-mounted MicroSD memory card slot accepts 32GB cards; my 16GB SanDisk card worked fine, and LG throws in a 1GB card to get you started. There's 46MB of free internal...

LG Rumor Touch (Virgin Mobile)

The Rumor Touch is a dual-band (850/1900 MHz) EV-DO Rev.0 device. There's no Wi-Fi. The Rumor Touch gets 3G speeds, just not the fastest possible speeds. That's fine here, as you'll mostly be trading text messages, IMs and low-bandwidth mobile Web...

Solid call quality. Roomy keyboard. Plenty of power for a feature phone. Value-packed prepaid and monthly options

Not much cheaper than a smartphone up-front

The LG Rumor Touch combines with Virgin Mobile's inexpensive plans to produce texting nirvana.

LG Rumor Touch Review

LG has had a lot of success with their Rumor line on Sprint, along with variants on Alltel and now Verizon Wireless. However, two generations in more of the same will no longer do for Sprint customers so LG has made some major changes to the third...

LG Rumor Touch Review

The LG Rumor Touch is a good option for pay-as-you-go cell phone users because it comes with many advanced features and superior calling and messaging options. The phone's large size and operating system are limiting factors, but not ones that get in...

This phone makes loud, clear calls and comes with superior messaging features.

This LG Rumor Touch is heavy, has a short battery life and lacks Wi-Fi capability.

This phone looks and feels like competing smartphones but is slightly more difficult to use.

LG Rumor Touch Review

A review of the final chapter of in the LG Rumor saga -- join as we review LG Rumor Touch. Does a new touchscreen interface and five-row QWERTY keyboard make this phone worth the $78 two year contract price?

It seems like the LG Rumor line of phones is doomed; from an under performing debutant, to a terribly done sequel, and a badly timed finale. There is no real reason to own this LG Rumor Touch, although vastly improved from its previous D-pad...

LG Rumor Touch Review - Phone Reviews by Mobile Tech Review

The first two LG Rumor messaging phones were both big hits with Sprint customers thanks to the growing texting population, the very useable QWERTY keyboards and compact yet pleasing designs. Now the third-generation LG Rumor Touch hits the market...

Full 5-line keyboard makes typing easier, Sprint services (Sprint TV, Navigation and Music) have good speed and performance, 3.5mm audio jack ;

Phone’s styling shows its age, so does the 2 megapixel camera

It’s good to see LG and Sprint add some 3G power to the Rumor line and the Rumor Touch offers competitive features such as a full QWERTY keyboard, a 3” touch screen, Sprint TV, GPS with Sprint Navigation and Sprint Music. The phone should please Rumor...
