LG V20 review: Time-saver edition

The LG V20 is the epitomy of LG's technology and the embodiment of a no-comprise phone. It has two screens, two cameras, four high-quality digital to analog converters, a military-compliant shock-resistant all-metal body with the trademark LG removable...

The LG V20 combines a metal body with military-grade shock resistance and a removable back and battery ; Bright screen with great color accuracy and good contrast ; Secondary screen is innovative, adds more functionality than just an always-on mode ;...

LG V20 review

The LG V20 isn't a bad phone. It covers all its bases with the latest hardware and a solid design. But other handsets edge it out in so many ways that, aside from the V20's swappable battery, you're better off buying something else.

The LG V20 records really high-quality audio and features a swappable battery and secondary wide-angle lens.

For its high price, the phone doesn't break any new ground in camera performance or battery life.

The LG V20 is the best phone you can buy with a removable battery, and its audio recording prowess is a cherry on top, but skip the phone if neither is a priority.

LG V20

The attractive LG V20 phablet is overflowing with features that will appeal to audiophiles, photographers, and average Android users alike.

Durable metal body. Top-of-the-line hardware. Excellent camera performance. High-quality audio. Useful "secondary" display. Latest Android software. Includes removable battery, expandable storage, and IR blaster.

Average battery life. Heavy software layer and carrier bloatware. No waterproofing or wireless charging.

Conclusions The LG V20 is a fantastic phablet, no matter which carrier you choose. That said, the differences in carrier pricing make it difficult to give the phone a universal rating. At $672, the V20 is easily the best big phone for the price, coming...

LG V20 review

Whether it's taking sexy selfies or scenic landscapes, the LG V20 is the camera phone for the job.

LG’s decision to not sell the V20 globally and limit B&O certification to certain areas sours what would be a sweet deal. What’s doubly annoying is that it’s a very, very good time to sell a big-screen smartphone. Samsung’s with the exploding , and LG...

LG V20 Review

Note: This review is based on a Korean unit of the LG V20. The B&O Branding, as well as specifics related to the user interface and user experience, may not be available in other regions.

Fast and fluid system performance ; Secondary screen has great potential ; 64GB storage as standard ; Fast charging ; Great image quality ; Highly customizable UI ; High-fidelity audio recording capabilities ; Excellent sound quality during phone calls

Not the prettiest phone out there ; Battery life is average at best ; Fingerprint lock experience could be improved

It is no easy task to describe what being an LG V20 user feels like, but to wrap things up, I’d say that it is quite an adventure. At first, there’s the euphoria of owning a phone so technically advanced – both in terms of hardware and software...

LG V20 Review

You may be asking, “What's so weird about the V20?” Well, after spending time with it off and on over the past few months, I just don't get the feeling that this is a phone for everyone. This is a phone for people who like enormous phones that are...

LG V20 review: the definitive live gig smartphone?

The LG V20 makes for a substantial and welcome improvement over the G5, but unpredictable audio recording means it's not quite perfect for live gigs.

The LG V20 offers a great but not excellent camera experience (in large part due to the extensive settings), rich audio playback and super-speedy performance. But those hoping to get some fantastic concert recordings will need to do just that – hope....

LG V20 Android 7.0 Nougat smartphone [Review]

Android is in a weird place. The latest version, 7.0 Nougat, is on very few devices, which highlights the operating system's biggest issue -- fragmentation. True, most apps will work fine on slightly older versions of the OS, but the true problem is...

Review: LG V20 for AT&T

The V20 is LG's biggest, most advanced Android smartphone to-date. The V20 boasts three cameras, a quad HD screen, superior audio capture, and the interesting Second Screen display. It's one of the first few phones to ship with Android 7 Nougat and...

The LG V20 is one of the most powerful smartphones available today. LG made appreciable strides in its hardware capabilities, and yet managed to stumble pretty badly with respect to the software. This leaves the V20 in a confusing space.

LG V20 Review: A Big-Screen Beast for Content Creators

The LG V20 is a bit of a strange beast. It looks like an enlarged LG G5 and skips most of the design features that made last year's V10 unique. Its battery life is pretty average, and with a price tag starting at around $750 (depending on which carrier...

Dual rear cameras offer different angles ; Great manual controls for photo/video ; Handy, always-on second screen ; High-gain microphones ; Removable battery

Expensive ; No waterproofing ; So-so battery life

Equipped with dual rear cameras, full-featured camera controls and a handy second screen, the LG V20 is a worthy big-screen alternative to the Galaxy S7 Edge and the Google Pixel.
