Meizu M3 Note review

Meizu's M3 Note is sleek and cheap, but not as good as its competitors.

Although the Meizu M3 Note looks nice and the battery is great, the performance just isn’t really there, and the camera is mediocre. For the price, you can get a number of other more powerful smartphones that also take better pictures. It’s a tough...

Meizu M3 Note Review: Lots of phone for the price

Meizu isn't a phone maker you hear about much in the United States, but our overseas readers in India, the EU and other parts will be very familiar with them. Meizu sent us their latest “Note” model, the Meizu M3 Note, for review. Let me say this...

Solid build quality for the price, nice design similar to the iPhone, decent camera and 1080p/403ppi display

The only two cons I have are, no Android 6.0 and 4GLTE doesn't work well in the states, the latter is to be expected though

For our overseas readers this is a solid buy. While there's no Android 6.0 here its price tag is very good for the specs offered and the performance is solid.

Meizu M3 Note Review

Unfamiliar to most of the world, Meizu is prominent in its homeland of China where local users have been welcoming the brand's MX, PRO, and M series of handsets. While the former are meant to be the best smartphones Meizu is capable of building, the M...

Nice design ; Fingerprint scanner ; Long battery life

Outdoor visibility could be better ; Inconsistent camera ; Below-average gaming performance

A functional smartphone, but hardly a low-cost miracle, the Meizu M3 Note does deliver a few pleasant surprises, but it doesn't evade all the flaws typical of phones in its price range. We are fond of its clean and sturdy metallic design, the fast...

Meizu m3 Note Review Tim Schiesser

The Meizu m3 Note is a 5.5-inch budget device with an attractive price tag of just $170, placing it in direct competition with the third-gen Moto G. There's a lot of quality in this device at its price, including a 1080p IPS LCD on the front, an...

Outstanding design for an entry-level handset. Great 5.5-inch 1080p display. Huge battery delivers excellent battery life without adding heft. Fingerprint scanner is a handy inclusion.

Mediocre cameras. RAM limitations lead to poor multi-tasking performance. Still running Android 5.1.

Meizu m3 note review

Meizu has earned a reputation for great affordable user experiences but is its latest handset up to the task? Let's find out, in this our m3 note review.

Sharp and assertive design ; Solid build quality ; Good display ; Expandable storage ; Fast and accurate fingerprint reader ; Excellent battery life ; Good software experience ; Very affordable

Few improvements compared to predecessors ; Ships with outdated version of Android ; Lack of U.S. availability ; Limited global 4G LTE support ; Poor gaming performance ; Mediocre call quality

Although the m3 note has a premium design, excellent battery life, and a good software experience, it offers few improvements over its predecessors. With the exception of its new design and fingerprint reader, the m3 note is largely more of the same....

Meizu m3 note review: Could've been better

After decent budget packages, the m1 note and m2 note, the m3 note from Meizu is quite an aberration from the predecessors, and aims to pack in solid internals in a stylish chassis. There are a few highlights like design and build quality with extended...

Design and build quality ; Flyme OS with mTouch ; Battery life

Average camera performance ; No FM radio ; Android Lollipop

There are very few notable omissions in the Meizu m3 note. There's no fast charging and Android Lollipop in 2016 hurts, and there are several misses here and there. Yet, the m3 note looks like a well-rounded package and at first glance, impresses a lot...

Meizu M3 Note review

We've been looking forward to testing a Meizu phone for a while and, although the M3 Note is impressive for the money, it's not a patch on the similar Xiaomi Redmi Note 3. We weight up the pros and cons of the Meizu M3 Note, and put it head to head...

The Meizu M3 Note is a great phone, with outstanding battery life and a nice metal unibody design, but it isn’t a patch on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, which is faster and comes with a better camera, more up-to-date software and, importantly, a cheaper...

Meizu M3 Note

The phone is 8.2-mm thin , and tips the scale at 163 grams. The phone is powered by a 1.8 GHz Octa core MediaTek Helio P10 processor and it comes with 3 GB of RAM. What this means is the processor has Octa cores in the CPU and 3 GB of RAM ensures the...
