disaster -- unstable

every so often I seem to lose my mind and fail to take into account the existing product reviews; this was one of those cases. Don't make the same mistake. complete disaster and waste of my money.

No chance to find out

completely unstable. reboots every 10 seconds to 2 hours. can overheat

One of the worst from Motorola

Definitely upgrade to 2.1 if you do purchase. But the phone is flaky and prone to failure so buyer beware.

It runs a version of android so that is a start ; It seems to get better signal than some other phones ; The camera is not terrible though it has no flash

Out of date ; Battery life is marginal at best (if you don't use it much) ; Will not run anything greater than Android 2.1 (update from Motorola website, comes as 1.5 from factory) ; Substandard hardware quality ; Video quality and sound recording are...

Don't buy

Motorola claims the camera is 5 megapixels, but I was never able to get it to take a picture that had a resolution of greater than 1024x768. The camcorder video quality is horrible -- it's so bad you can't tell what's going on in the video.

This phone is extremely outdated. It runs Android 1.1 which doesn't even work with the Market anymore, and it's not possible to upgrade the OS beyond Android 1.5

Dont Buy Now

Phone is great dont drop calls and unless i try to run a bunch of apps at once there is little lag. The phone is discontinued and there is little forum support since this came out right before the next gen of android phones did (evo, moto droid) build...

Phone was awesome when it was released, android os upgradeable from MFGR

A little slow nowadays, still usuable. Cant run new apps---See other thougts

Motorola makes some decent phones but this series is the worst I've seen. Look elsewhere.

It had some cool features for the software, and the camera was decent. That's about it

Not only is the battery life horrible, but the phone had software bugs and failed on me multiple times. Through a phone insure the Tmobile version of this phone was replaced 3 times in just over a month. Tmobile gave up and just gave me a MyTouch...

Short battery life...and lots of it

It makes a pretty paperweight.

Android based, SWYPE, good weight all around

Worst battery life of any phone i have ever had. Needs to be constantly plugged up to use it for anything of use such as wifi or gps. Over time the battery life has gotten so horrible that it is dead (or close to it) within 4 hours of idling (no...

Not really a Cliq

This phone has reached the end of it's life cycle. Motorola does not have any plans to provide updates to this particular Spanish version of this phone.

It works with SOFTBANK Japan. It's an Android phone

It is marketed as a Motorola Cliq but it is actually a Motorola Dext from Spain. The difference is that out of the box, you cannot update the OS ; It does not have multitouch. The battery does not even last an entire day. The stock OS is very slow. The...
