Motorola i412 (Boost Mobile)

Boost Mobile often takes pride in offering a wide variety of phones for every budget, including the cheap, basic flip phone. The Motorola i412 is one such handset. With its staid design and minimal features, the phone won't attract anyone who wants...

The Motorola i412 is a basic flip phone with a roomy keypad. Features include push-to-talk iDEN support, Bluetooth, and text and multimedia messaging. Call quality is great

The Motorola i412 has only a VGA camera, the screen is lackluster, and the menu interface is poor

If you can live with its unimpressive design and features, the Motorola i412 does offer great call quality at an affordable price for the prepaid market.

Motorola i412 (Boost Mobile)

At one point in testing the earpiece stopped working completely. I checked every setting on the phone but to no avail. I had to power off the phone completely to remove and replace the battery before the earpiece began working again.

Push-to-talk capabilitues. Solid build. Inexpensive

Dated features. Mediocre voice quality. Poor camera. Slow Web browsing speeds

The Motorola i412 is a decent push-to-talk phone for users looking to save a buck on Boost, but there are better options out there.

Low end even for a basic phone, in my opinion.

In my opinion, if you're going with a no contract phone, the LG flip phones like VX5600 are far less money, easier to use and have many more apps. and tools.

Nice color

Very user un-friendly. You need to figure out how to use it by yourself because the instuction manual is VERY vague and does not contain information such as how to go from caps (A) to sm caps (a) in certain screens
