Motorola i886 (Sprint)

The Motorola i886 has an interface identical to that of Android, which makes navigation easy and intuitive. It has a rugged and durable design, a great keyboard, and a decent feature set that includes corporate e-mail support and Opera Mini. Call...

Some people might be thrown off by the Android user interface because the i886 is actually not a smartphone. Photo quality is average at best, and the multimedia offerings are pretty basic.

Don't be tricked into believing the Motorola i886 is an Android smartphone; it's not, but it is a very functional Nextel messaging phone with Direct Connect and fantastic call quality.

Motorola i886 (Sprint)

The Motorola i886 is a dual-band iDEN (800/1900 MHz) device that works on Sprint's push-to-talk Nextel network. There's no Wi-Fi, and beware: Internet access over iDen is extremely slow. Voice quality was very good, with a warm, full tone in the...

Solid build quality. Excellent reception. Booming speakerphone. Powerful, easy-to-use, Android-based OS

Buggy. Poor camera. No voice dialing over Bluetooth. Relatively short standby time

The push-to-talk Motorola i886 takes most of what makes Android phones great and packages it all in a rugged, easy-to-use messaging phone.

Review: Motorola i886

Motorola's i886 runs on Sprint's iDEN network and offers both a physical QWERTY keyboard and a semi-rugged design. There's also the Android-like operating system to make things interesting.

The Motorola i886 looks to be a new iDEN Android phone with a slide sliding full QWERTY keyboard plus a numerical keyboard on the front of the phone. There is very little known about this phone as of now, so make sure to keep checking back to...

DON'T BUY THIS PIECE OF CRAP. IT NEEDS TO BE THE REASON THEY HAVE A LEMON LAW FOR CELL PHONES.

NONE THAT I KNOW OF

Worst phone on the market, after 6 weeks it started ringing and no button would answer it, had to take the battery out to get it to stop. Best Buy wouldn't take it back because it took more than 30 days to screw up. They said send it to the manufactuer.an

My first Nextel and (faux) Android Phone.

I really do like this phone. This is my first experience with the iDen network and the reception at least in my town is phenomenal. Half of my life at both my job and my workshop at home is spent in a basement and this phone has no problems finding a...

Built like a tank. Excellent reception

The buttons for both the keypad and sliding keyboard are a little stiff and typing is a little more difficult than I would like
