Motorola SLVR L2

The Motorola SLVR L2 provides style, but no camera.

Slender. E-mail client supports popular freemail services. No camera.

Lackluster phone performance. Slow data speeds.

Motorola V270

Not to discuss both devices together, we'll mention only the differences and then will speak about both phones in one. The elder model is equipped with an integrated VGA camera and Push-to-Talk. Starting with December shipments, EDGE will appear,...

Motorola L2 Phone

The Motorola L2 is a sleek & thin mobile phone that comes in a beautiful diamond dust coloured casing. The keypad is simply contoured & the keys are cut into the stylish handset. The navigation button is user friendly & the L2 reacts quickly to the...

Good Basic Phone

If you are looking for a high-tech gizmo this isn't it. If you are looking for an unlocked GSM phone that can make/receive calls and texts then this is a good deal.

Makes calls ; Receives calls ; Sends texts ; Receives texts ; Works with a Bluetooth headset ; Has a bunch of other features you will never use (calendar, alarm clock, etc.)

Keys aren't super easy to find by touch, which matters quite a bit when working with a small keypad

You get what you pay for

As others have stated, this is a decent basic phone. Don't expect too much and don't throw away your packaging until the 30 days are up.

Sound and signal work fine

Three or four days after receipt of the phone, and a day after I discarded the packaging (which meant I could not return it), the screen went haywire. It had not been dropped, did not get wet, or suffer any other abuse. I'm a computer tech, but I did...

Inexpensive travel phone

Not a bad phone. It's worth the money you pay for it.

A very simple phone that works anywhere in the world since it's a quad band phone. Looks great too

Not very durable. I drop the phone once and it stopped charging. Luckily, I was in West Africa and was able to get it fixed for less than $6

Moto L2

Bought this phone for a trip in Central America. Wanted a no non-sense phone that would work anywhere w/ GSM service and could send SMS and make phone calls, which it does. I basically knew what I was buying but these phones are definitely discarded...

Cheap unlocked Quad-band phone

Old Cingular software. No predictive texting

Amazing backup phone for travelers!

For a $50 unlocked quad-band phone, I don't think you can do any better than this phone. It's not a full-time replacement for a newer Sony Ericsson, or in my case an iPhone, but it works awesome in a pinch. Set your expectations appropriately for a...

Phone is small, charges through most mini-USB connections, and for Mac users, it will pull down your contacts and calendar events through iSync over Bluetooth! Easily accessible SIM tray for fast switching, and pretty decent battery life even with a BT...

Doesn't charge through every mini-USB I've encountered. Screen is old-school STN and doesn't look like a new, active matrix Sony Ericsson. Motorola's user interface looks like it is from 1993

Old Cingular Phone?

Works on T-mobile. Does what a basic phone should do

Seems like old Cingular software is on this phone. Are these actually new

Good Value Phone

If you want a replacement ATT phone and don't want to commit to another two year contract to get a subsidized phone, you can't go wrong.

This phone is great. It is a basic replacement phone that uses my existing mini USB chargers. It has Blue Tooth and has all four bands that ATT uses for service around the world. My specific phone was already set as an ATT phone - time and voice mail...

This is NOT a geek, web browsing, e-mail, camera PDA smart phone. Just calls with Blue Tooth or through the good sounding hand set
