Motorola Droid Mini

If you're a Verizon customer looking for an affordable yet compact Android smartphone, the $99.99 Motorola Droid Mini sure sounds tempting. And on the whole it delivers just what you'd expect from a $99.99 phone. It has the same fast processor as the...

The compact Motorola Droid Mini offers a speedy processor, long battery life, and advanced Android features for an affordable price.

The Droid Mini’s chassis feels cheap and attracts grease and fingerprints easily. The phone’s screen has inaccurate colors with low contrast.

If $100 is the most you can spend, the Motorola Droid Mini will fit the bill, but splurging on the handsome Moto X pays dividends later.

Motorola Droid Mini review: searching for a tiny flagship smartphone

“Check out this screen, this thing is huge.”

Fantastic size ; Bright and clear display ; Performs near-equally to the Ultra and Maxx

Ugly, disproportionate design ; Weak battery life

Once, 4.3-inch phones were king

Motorola Droid Mini (Verizon Wireless) Review

The Motorola Droid Mini offers robust voice controls, a bright display and zippy performance, but its battery life and build quality could be better.

Very fast display; Loud speakers; Responsive, touchless controls; Fast performance

Below-average battery life; Camera blows out some images; Build quality can vary between devices

The Motorola Droid Mini offers robust voice controls, a bright display and zippy performance, but its battery life and build quality could be better.

Motorola DROID Mini Review

Just as the Motorola DROID Ultra is this year's replacement for the DROID RAZR HD, the new DROID Mini takes the place of the DROID RAZR M in the line-up. In fact, both the DROID Mini and DROID Ultra share similar features, such as the 1.7GHz Motorola...

Nice size for compact smartphone lovers ; Close to stock Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with exclusive Motorola apps ; Excellent call quality

Glossy back is fingerprint magnet ; Lacks expandable storage

With a 2-year contract price of $99.99, the Motorola DROID Mini is the most affordable of the new DROIDs, and still has the same X8 processor, software, and features that its larger siblings have. The DROID Mini is truly designed for someone that wants...

Motorola Droid Mini Review

Love Android, but hate the giant screens required to get a high-end phone? With a 4.3-inch display, the Motorola Droid Mini might be just what you need.

Droid Mini by Motorola (Verizon Wireless)

The Motorola Droid Mini is a little less attractive than the similar Moto X, but it's also less expensive.

Are you shopping with your head, your heart, or your wallet here? The Droid Mini’s greasy “Kevlar” body and Eye of Sauron graphics are much less emotionally appealing than the Moto X’s soft curves and organic wallpapers. But if you’re looking strictly...

"So far, nearly perfect"

I got this as a replacement for my 5C which fell into water-- instead of paying for a replacement, I sold my 5C BROKEN and took my fathers upgrade. Having used iPhones as my last 2 devices, I was ready for a change, and that of course, was a RED...

Great screen, fast speed for video loading and gaming, 16GB is internal, screen is an AMOLED but better than a lot of other Amoleds

The phone has shut off a handful of times, I don't like the SIM card underneath the volume keys, and the 16GB (more than enough for me, but not others sometimes) is internal and no room for SD.

"I <3 this phone. Perfect size. Very fast."

Google made a good call buying Motorola. They did a good job with the Mini, I'm very impressed. I'll be buying another in a couple years.

No lag ever. Beautiful screen. Touch-less controls/Active Notifications are great. The speaker is loud, music sounds superb with headphones! Kevlar,Gorilla glass, water resistant nano-coating. Just the right size, not to big but definitely not "mini".

Only 16g. No sd card. The body is a glossy finger print magnet. But not really an issue for me. Who doesn't buy a case to prevent damage ect.? I bought the Incipio NGP case, super slim, good protection on all edges, silky, no fingerprint feel.

"Great phone with MAJOR design flaw."

My iPhone 4s was slowing down and I was generally unhappy with it but still had several months on my plan at Verizon and wanted a new phone. The Verizon Rep suggested this phone on my call with them so I bought it, at full retail price... almost...

Super fast phone

Poor build quality and it's Gorilla Glass screen is a joke

small easy to use smart phone

My husband was looking for a basic smart phone that was small and could easily fit in his pocket. He uses it for email, Facebook, internet and texting. This phone was exactly what he was looking for.
