Motorola Quantico (U.S. Cellular)

The Motorola Quantico has virtually no multimedia features, but it's an excellent phone for voice calls, and it should stand up to heavy abuse.

Rugged design. Stellar voice quality. Booming speakerphone. Long battery life.

Poor camera. Disappointing Web browser and music player. Low screen resolution.

Multimedia, Camera, and Conclusions The microSD card slot is buried beneath the locked battery cover, but you can swap cards without pulling the battery. My 16GB SanDisk card worked fine, and there's also 151MB of free user memory. The non-standard...

"Phone hinge does not hold up."

Piece of junk that started falling apart from day one just like all the other Motorola phone I have owned.

No pros to this phone

Very poor design, bulky, weak hinge, warranty does not cover any advertised features of the phone. Very slow at texting, often times does not put a space or a letter when using itap. Whole phone lags when the more text messages you have on it.

"Tough phone that is working great after a two years!"

Love this phone. I would love to switch it for a tough, large screen, smartphone but they don't make one. The text prediction takes some adjustment and it sometimes suggest the most off the wall words instead of suggesting the most commonly used and...

Most other phones I owned didn't survive this long except for the tiny little Motorola Vader I had many, many years ago. The Quantico is waterproof (accidental), rollover proof (accidental), shock proof (accidental). Bluetooth excellent.

I see complaints about ITAP text prediction. One: You CAN turn it off! Two: It DOESN'T like it when you can't spell in the first place. I don't have that problem but it does act oddly. Ex: Why it suggests Moses first instead of noses is beyond me.
