Motorola Rambler (black, Boost Mobile)

Almost a year after Boost Mobile introduced its first-ever messaging phone, the Motorola Clutch i465 , it's ready to welcome yet another Motorola messenger into its stable. The aptly named Motorola Rambler houses a QWERTY keyboard in a compact...

The Motorola Rambler has a full QWERTY keyboard, plus two color displays, a 1.3-megapixel camera, threaded text messaging, and great call quality.

The Motorola Rambler doesn't feel very comfortable in the hand, and the interface looks dated. Photo quality isn't good either.

We like the Motorola Rambler's overall functionality, but we do wish it had a more ergonomic design.

Motorola Rambler (Boost Mobile)

The Motorola Rambler is a work truck of a cell phone. It's almost square and solidly put together. It looks tough, and it packs a QWERTY keyboard into a standard vertical flip phone without turning it into something ungainly. That's worth some respect....

Great voice quality. Reasonable monthly fees

No music player. No easy way to transfer photos. Low screen resolution

The Rambler is a good basic choice for anyone looking to take advantage of Boost Mobile's delicious $50-per-month unlimited talk, text, and Web plans.

"Only for making phone calls & only marginal at that."

Virtually useless piece of unadulterated junk. It constantly resets its master volume to the lowest setting. It constantly breaks up during phone calls. It virtually never connects to the internet, claiming that the server is down even though every...

Absolutely no pros that I can find.

You name it, it's terrible at it.
