Motorola RAZR MAXX review: Power ranger

Motorola achieved the unthinkable with the RAZR MAXX. A 9mm body, which is slim even by today's modern standards, fits a battery that dwarfs all others. With the CDMA version our all-time battery backup champion, it's now time to see how the GSM holds...

Massive 3,300mAh battery in 9mm splash resistant body, Kevlar back ; Quad-band GSM and quad-band 3G with HSDPA and HSUPA ; 4.3" 16M-color capacitive SuperAMOLED touchscreen of qHD resolution (960 x 540 pixels, 256ppi), scratch-resistant Gorilla glass ;...

Bigger than other phones with the same screen size ; Screen uses PenTile matrix (offset by high ppi); a little dim too ; No FM radio ; No dedicated shutter key ; Non-user-replaceable battery

We're at the end of this review and we're quite happy with how it all went. The Motorola RAZR MAXX may use older hardware, but we didn't find it lacking severely in any respect.
